The Gecko spots Joffrey, considering it to be another "intruder".

The large yellow Spider Tank attempts to move away, but the speed of the piercer shot hits it in its mounted dual lasers. It takes damage, but the lasers still stand strong. Seeing Kain jump and fire his grapple, the Gecko moves away, before drawing in and swiveling its legs, causing the spike cords to hit one of them instead.

Having its weapons charged up, the Gecko starts firing blue lasers more rapidly, one at Omega, and one at Joffrey.

Omega leaps away from the laser, charging more energy into her other rifle for another Piercer Shot.

Once Kain notices his spikecords have hit, he lets himself fall back to the ground. "Time to disable you for research. Command code: Trapped Lightning!" Then the spikes embedded into the Gecko's legs open, as Kain sends a flow of electricity down into it. Enough to try and fry it even!

The Gecko starts getting annoyed by Omega's evasive antics, and charges and fires up a red laser from both guns. This laser crisscrosses each other and hurts more than the blue laser, but there is a blind spot between the crisscross.

Kain's electricity surges through Gecko's leg, dealing huge damage to the leg and causing it to blow up and the spike cords detatch. Surprisingly, this does nothing to hamper the Gecko, not even a scratch to its subsystems or mobility.

In Einhander, attacking Gecko's legs to destroy them does no damage to the main weakspot or its mobility.

2 attacks in this form used, I might want him to summon the drones for his third.

With lightning-fast electronic reflexes, cybernetic analysis, and a cool, tactical mind, Omega is easily able to calculate the pattern. However, spinning into one of the blindspots delays her attack; by the time she levels her railgun-rifle back at it and pulls the trigger on her second Piercer Shot, it’s probably not there any more.

Kain himself looks at the Gecko and decides to simply scan it now. It was proving too resistant to easily take apart and examine. After he gets his scan, Kain will then go to town on it.

Had to reset my modem because it was bugging. Sorry.

A dragon flies out of the shroud, and lands there. Then, it fires a single ball of Frostfire at the Gecko.

The Gecko, true to its namesake, quickly moves away and scales up the Violet tower to evade Omega's Piercer Shot and Joffrey's Frostfire attacks, not paying much attention to Kain who had suddenly stopped attacking. It then emits a strange signal, and two small orange "trucks"◊ (PWO43A "FROSCH") appear in the distance and close in on the fight.

The orange trucks position themselves such that its opponents are between them and Gecko, before opening fire with small, aimed plasma shots at Omega and Kain. But why are they doing this?

Joffrey takes off into the air, and fires two Frostfire balls at the Gecko with a groan of annoyance, hovering.

Omega ducks and weaves between the shots, returning fire with blasts of pink-white energy which are like mini-Piercer Shots, giving up on charging up full-power ones.

Kain looks over the scan data, frowning mentally as the machine turns out to be low tech. The beam wasn't even that powerful. Just capable of sustaining itself for a period of time. With a sigh, he then fires his spike-cords towards the nearest truck. If they hit, Kain will reel the vehicle in...and pick it up. "Useless technology after all." In fact, his shielding was absorbing most of the plasma fire. Which gives him the nice chance of throwing the damn truck at Gecko!

The two orange trucks start positioning themselves, making sure that Omega and Joffrey are between them and the Gecko. However, one of them is picked up by Kain... and thrown at the Gecko, nullifying half of a tricky attack!

The Gecko attempts to crawl around the tower to avoid its attacks, but its large size gets it hit in its main dual guns by a frostfire ball, a truck, and a couple of the mini-piercer shots. The frostfire ball and truck explode on the dual guns, causing great damage, while the piercer shots deal a fair bit more. Its dual guns seem to have taken heavy damage by now...

The Gecko swivels its damaged dual guns wildly, while firing volleys of 6 purple lasers that... home in on the remaining orange truck? 3 will sweep high to attack Joffrey, and the other 3 will sweep low to hit Omega.

One truck is on the ground and Gecko is on the tower. It would need to sweep to hit both.

Joffrey dodges one of the shots, but two manage to hit him, leaving black, smoking scars on his plated chest. Other than that, he's not too damaged, and he keeps hovering in the air, ignoring the pain... for now.

He responds to this attack by blasting a Breath Attack of Frostfire at the Gecko.

Fixed.

Omega sprints and swerves away from the lasers. Being between the truck and the Gecko, and caught somewhat off guard, a couple of grazing hits burn into her Barrier Jacket. She then stops to take a breath and start charging more energy into one of her guns, unaware that there’s a part two to this attack…

Kain then decides to leap towards the other truck. Hoping he manages to hit it dead-on, which would result in him possibly tearing through it. If it tries to dodge past him, he'll try to send spike cords into where its most explosive point is. Either way, he will then turn his attention to the Gecko itself, firing cords at it to try and grab on. After that? Ride in towards it at full speed.

Zooming in from out of the fog, a White Jet Fighter with two noseconses and Forward-swept wings suddenly makes an appearance in the combat zone before it makes a dive towards the Spider assault mecha in the manner of a bombing run.

WEAPON SWITCH: PROTON TORPEDO

And then a quartet of large, powerful-looking but slow homing missiles are launched from the figher's belly and straight towards the Gecko's turret as it breaks away in order to dodge the AA fire.

Omega may notice that the Jet fighter has a metatron signature.

The other orange truck moves behind Omega, avoiding Kain's direct attack, then fires a red, cosntant laser from behind her. It holds the laser for a few seconds... before Kain's spike cord jams in it, causing it to blow up.

Gecko, seeing the Frostfire attack, swivels around the tower to avoid it, although it gets its other legs damaged in the process due to its size. It then fires a red crisscross laser at Joffrey... just before Kain's spike cord catches right on its top "platform".

Noticing the missiles, the Gecko immediately deploys exploding mines from two hatches on its side See Mine Launcher. They blow up the area around its top platform to destroy the missiles... and may catch Kain in the blast too.

Joffrey's left wing gets damaged by the laser, forcing him to make an emergency landing. He then glares at the Gecko.

"Rot in the Seven Hells, sucker!"

He begins to charge up a very powerful Frostfire Attack.

Her sensors detecting the power surge from the truck at the last second, Omega fires off her half-finished Piercer Shot at the Gecko as an unformed blast of Mana and Metatron energy lacking in armour-piercing capabilities, and is already legging it away from her current position when she turns her head to look at the truck. She feels the heat from the laser on her back, but barely manages to outrun it until Kain blows the truck. However, she is forced to use most of her energy on her speed.

Okay, this thing is becoming irritating… note to self, its allies assist in powerful combination attacks, prioritize their elimination…

Wait, I can feel... that jet has a Metatron signature. I'll investigate after this is dealt with.

Well, that's new.

Undeterred by its heavy missiles getting neutralized in such a manner, the Jet fighter circles round for another attack pass and fires a pair of thin, but fast and rather powerful armor-piercing lasers from between its twin nosecones at the Crawler tank's turret.

Kain finds himself right in the middle of the mine explosion. While his shield holds up for the first part, following blasts knock it offline. Following this is Kain getting blown back, missing his right arm and a good deal of his head.

Glad to see you haven't decided to leave us, Questor. Some of us do want you here.

The Gecko notices that the mechanical knight had been taken out of commission, but notices another fighter coming in.

A fighter. Just like the one the moon forces used. The Gecko lets out a muffled "Shit!" in German.

It immediately drops down the tower at fast speed, but not before its dual guns are taken out by a good bit of the jet's laser and half-finished Metatron shot.

SECOND PHASE

However, a single laser turret still remains. It looks like the Spider Tank had prepared after all. At the same time, the Gecko's bottom begins to glow green, as it uses its power to improve its propulsion and speed...

The Gecko then fires green lasers rapidly at Omega, Joffrey, and the intruding aircraft.

This green section is the real weakpoint of the Gecko.

Joffrey fires the half-charged Frostfire Orb at the Gecko, not noticing the green section appearing.

Then, he takes off into the air to avoid the green laser, which nearly hits his tail, but is narrowly dodged. As his wing is damaged, he lands again on the ground. He will be unable to fly for the meantime, so he starts to walk around in a circular direction to at least attempt to evade the other attacks. He has been a bit prideful in the last few minutes, hasn't he?

Hey, Questor, sorry for the outburst in the previous pages. I'll try my best to not make it happen again. Anyways, I forgive you. Let's just get along next time, okay?
