Sorry about not getting on this, but I was busy.

Should there be a wiki announcement telling everyone to move Synopsis over to Recap (I assume that's what we're doing, since almost no one wants to do the reverse)? This is a sizable change.

No consensus has been made to my knowledge of what the Namespace is going to be named, however.

Nor has the guidelines been set up.

So we need to do a bit more before an announcement, IMO.

I suggest moving Synopsis/ pages to Recap/, as Totemic Hero said.

There are so many Recap/ pages. Does anyone support moving all the Recap/ different pages to a different namespace? If not, the only way to merge Recap/ and Synopsis/ is to move the Synopsis/ pages to Recap/.

Yeah, if we merge, it only makes sense to use the name that already has wider use. In favor of merging to "Recap".

Keep in mind I'm not particularly attached to Recap itself, as I mentioned earlier. However, this is the kind of project that needs to be done in one sweep (to prevent people from making additional pages in the discarded namespace(s)), and getting the manpower to move pages out of Recap that quickly is basically impossible.

Well, since Recap is the most used, moving it all to that makes the most sense.

I'm in agreement then.

No major objections then? Recap it is, I guess.

Okay, then, on to the shared guidelines. The main one to work on being, of course, that the Synopsis pages do/did not contain trope lists, while many Recap pages do. Do we enforce one, or allow for both?

Allow both. The only reason for an example list is if the recap is for individual parts of the series and has tropes not already in the main article.
