I started to get autoplaying video ads at the bottoms of pages recently. I will preface by saying that I am well aware there is little this site can do about ads, since those are under the control of another entity. However, autoplay video ads are more than annoying—they are inconsiderate. Moreover, with this site people tend to have multiple tabs open, which can make it very hard to find which of the 5, 10, 15...(etc.) tabs you have open is all of a sudden making a bunch of noise. Can the guys upstairs do anything about this?
NOTE: I have no problem with video ads that are paused by default.
