Don't put your hopes too high on Brazil.
Lula and the Worker's Party have plenty of authoritarian strides and it still supporting the South American autocrats. Not to mention its hazy relationship with organized crime.

Ugh. Not particularly a good idea, canning Bolsonaro like that - it gives him the same kind of martyr cred Lula has and the potential for a pro-Bolsonaro judge to strike back. The fact that Lula is Brazil's best option is not exactly a rousing endorsement of him.
