As an aside, someone made a funny meme based on that "Elmo In Grouchland" screencap, with the subtitle, "Elmo puts Nostalgia Critic back where he belongs."
I laughed.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationUmm,yeah

Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Didnt... Doug already review that? I distinctly remember him bringing up the Sauroman/Auroman name confusion part in one video.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptationThat was his Old vs New-video with Bakshi's Lord of the Rings and Jackson's LotR.

I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person. One my favorite Old vs New episodes.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadMy favorite is Batman vs. The Dark Knight, but yes LOTR was a close second.
"Point goes to the old." "What do you know about it? NOTHING!"
I admit it was interesting to see Doug make a case for the Bashki film when it’s considered a prime example of why LOTR couldn’t have been properly adapted back then to a film trilogy that made all the money and capped its run by sweeping the Oscars. It should have been completely one-sided, but he was able to make a case that the Bashki film did some things a bit better. Granted, as a whole the Bashki films are widely considered inferior, but still, points for making people consider the positive aspects, especially in comparison to films that were and are lauded as some of the finest the fantasy genre has ever made.
Man I miss his Old vs New. When was the last one he did?
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadI think Teen Titans vs. Teen Titans Go!.

Stray observations:
- "And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!"
- "You know, Frodo, just run."
- "Yes, Sam, you're helping. Piss off and play with your G.I. Joe's, you idiot."
- "I am Gandalf the [*muffled sounds*]"

Just a person. He/him.Honestly, I'm just gonna say it, I like this version of Lord of the Rings much better than the Hobbit movies.

Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianNow I want him to do that Mickey Mouse short “Runaway Brain“. I don’t think Doug has ever voiced his thoughts on that short yet.
So instead of doing a traditional Dark Toons since he didn't have one prepared, he's instead covering Hazbin Hotel.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.
