He's Neutral Evil but delightfully so.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Yeah. Hugh Grant was definitely the right choice for the role.
I would rather we never see Forge again. I think they'd overplay him and he'd outstay his welcome if they brought him back. Leave another actor to chew the scenery and ham it up.
I could see future movies being unconnected, honestly. Just the group of adventurers we got to know in the first one going on various different adventures, maybe with some character-based throughlines here and there.

I wish we got gnomes or dwarves or halflings.
I'd like to see this cast continued but that's because the previous movies did a new cast every film and yes, I saw all of them.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Bradley Cooper cameo'd as a halfling in the film though I thought he was a gnome at 1st (no hairy feet and all).
shame there's no race for raccoon people
I could see him having a smaller role moving forward rather than a larger one—in the event the rest of the cast does return for whatever kind of project they'd return for.

Barbarian women love manscaped halfling feet.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Oh yeah that scene. That was great.
Funny enough, I wonder if this movie would have gotten a bit more push if it came out after Baldur's Gate 3. Yeah the game technically already existed as EA but still...
I feel like there was a lot of minor factors going on at the time including the D&D promotion community being pissed at Hasbro.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. That's not even a factor really, that only really happened in the tabletop circles, moviegoesers couldn't care less
New theme music also a boxEven the ones who were pissed at Hasbro like my friend still saw the movie.
She's our dungeon master.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'm guessing the main reason is that D&D is just not that big.
I think by now dungeons and dragons is big and mainstream, but there's clearly a divide between people who play tapletop and people who've heard of it.
New theme music also a boxI just want to see the normies reaction to telling them my character is a servant of the devil and you can sell your soul to several different types of devils including Mammon.

And it blindsides me you can be a cleric of Asmodeus in Baldur's Gate 3.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Asmodeus is a benevolent deity so I don't get why you are so surprised.
After all, it's his legions that keep the demons at bay in the Blood War. Without Asmodeus, the multiverse would be overrun.
Plus, he's also giving mortals what they want through his devils. What a pal.

What exactly are the legions of Heaven DOING exactly?

they're doing the lord's work!
New theme music also a boxI'd love to see a movie tackle the blood war parts of the lore TBH.

I mean like I said, the way the marketing set it up, Forge could indeed go either way in the sequel. That they make him still a jokey character despite being a horrible human being is something noteworthy certainly.
