Anon are like the Orkz: Brutal, sociopathic, fun-seeking, swarm tactics-favouring, and yes, possessed of savage cunning and inventiveness. But they are not the sort of folk who would go for something -this- clever. Unless of course we're dealing with a splinter faction, or even just a very busy individual.

Yeah, as much I defend them for their good actions anonymous is still a complete mess that can barely decide what their own damn ideals(anarchy, or chaotic-good outing the real monsters) let alone pull of anything that would require as much precision and teamwork as this.

Eeyup, I was just on a feminist-orientated website the other day and they never ran a correction on their article talking about it and I haven't seen any major sources talk about Rantic yet.

David Futrelle of all people actually called Rantic out on their bullshit, don't know how prominent he is in the wider sphere, though.

Mashable and the Epoch times also ran some major corrections as well.

The Rantic hoax doesn't really matter. What matters is that the initial threat was a hoax. That one dipshit making things up to start trouble turned out to be a different dipshit making things up to start trouble isn't really that major of a correction.

Unless you guys are referring to 4chan - Rantic being the correction needing to be made, not Rantic - Social VEVO.

So, apparently now 4chan instated a post limit. Unless you buy a 4chan pass.

In case you're wondering why this is relevant,

1) This is BS.

2) Normal people would usually never make over 500 posts in a single day unless they had a nice day off, say you're on a college network. That means you're all using the same IP. Meaning all your posts count as all your neighbors.

3) This is the second time Moot's pushing for the 4chan pass for the sake of removing limitations that he placed onto there in the first place. (remember captcha?)
