it took me three tries, but I managed the 60 minute kuva survival with friends and no life support with oxygen to spare. Would have done it the second time if spawning hadn't broken.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I can’t believe I did the kuva survival on the first try.
I thought my team of randos was doing it run because they used the kuva siphoning modules but we still got it in the end.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."we fucked up the first time and accidentally popped a support tower, had to restart. Second time spawning broke and we nearly asphyxiated. Third time worked perfectly.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Huh turns out the Index gives you more rare mods on average.
Also no way am I gonna be able to perfect capture 10 animals.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I found that one was easiest with virminks. One big animal that moves slowly, no tricks. None of that crap with the pobbers where they're so small you don't notice them, and if there's more than one you have to get them all at the same moment.
That was a design flaw that was fixed last week. Now the tranq gun is actually silent and won't startle them on misses or if their friends drop. Just stay downwind in Ivara or Loki.
Still better to hit Virminks because it's worth more standing.
This is my first time actually using the huting mechanic, how do I chase those?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."just go to the marker on the map, and check if it's a virmink. I think you can only hunt pobbers to start, but you can get the virmink lure pretty cheap from the biz.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"And if you're holding the lure (rather than the tranq gun), only hunting spots that match the lure will show up on your map.
Get the Oxylus companion. Helps out with both hunting and fishing. (I'm gonna skip that achievement, though; if it were 10 fish, maybe.)
And Gara does have a self heal but you need an augment for it.

What's a reliable rare mod farm? I'm 5 away.

"You can reply to this Message!"I wish Sure Shot was buffed to provide nice status.
I love my Dex Furis and built rightly can strip armor good. But I always felt it could use that extra bit regarding status and I don't want to turn to rivens...
And I can't remember if I have Embedded Catalyzer acolyte mod or not. Ya I know it's been a while since I played, doens't mean I can't ponder
Seriously, all the +status mods for weapons just give +15% (+30% for shotgun). They should be either +90% or +120%
Edit: forgot to say but fuck the poor ammo economy on Dex Furis. Honestly, if it had 4x the ammo reserve then it'd be swell!

Answer is mods, my friend. Always mods.Wiki has extensive page on status effects. At the bottom of the page is list of status mods and page of every mod lists their drop locations. Yes, that is 60% status chance alongside hefty damage modifier.
As for ammo, check this! There are ammo mutation mods for any gun you want.
I already have Pistol Pestilence and Jolt on the frikken thing Prany, it's just I'd rather not apply another status mod to mess up corrosive I want, which is why I'd want Sure Shot to be buffed. What's so wrong with not wanting undesirable status effects? I need to make it as biased towards corrosive, not introduce another damage type to mess it up lol.
Yeah, Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation mod, I gotta remember that too.
Okay rethinking it all, maybe reworked Sure Shot ain't needed. Let's try this...
Barrel Diffusion, Lethal Torrent, Seeker, Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation, Jolt, Pistol Pestilence, Convulsion and Pathogen Rounds.
That should suffice. Voiddamn I want an extra mod slot for Primed Quickdraw, but I could sacrifice Pistol Pestilence or Convulsion for that...
Yeah this build should fuckbliterate armor alright.

Messing up corrosive combo shouldn't be a problem. Elemental combinations are decided by position of elemental mods. If you place electric and toxic damage in slots 2 and 3 introducing other elements in slot 4 and below won't interfere with corrosive combo. It will only break if you put fire or ice in slot 1. While fire proc will compete with corrosive proc, damage type with largest percentage of your overall damage will accordingly proc the most. Thus corrosive with two 60% and one 90% damage mods and fire with one 60% mod will proc corrosive most of the time. And it'll eat armor even faster and kill grineer fast even after armor is gone because of fire's bonus against cloned flesh.
You also need Hornet Strike. It's the most essential pistol mod.
I know how positioning of elemental mods works too! It's just I tried what you said and it wasn't all that different. Now I had 5 damage types and I couldn't strip armor as fast and the other element had to get in the way a lot.
As for hornet strike, not if it is for pure utility purposes like my proposed build XD. I mean this should destroy armor fastest. That is the idea from very start. Destroy armor and then switch to another more damaging weapon to finish the job.
Weapon switch is too slow for pace of the game. High level horde missions where armor stripping is needed, you'll have heavies coming at you like zerglings. In longer missions switching weapons will accumulate minutes of wasted time which isn't even necessary. With essential mods like Hornet Strike, you don't have to compromise between utility of armor strip and sheer killing power - you can have both.

I mean, might work with the new melee.
"You can reply to this Message!"So about Opticor Vandal...
Good improved stats. 24% crit chance, 2.6x crit multiplier, 30% status, 0.6 charge time and magazine size of 8!
Biggest downside? -60% less damage.
It deals 400 damage. I do NOT know how to feel about that...
Then there's the Prisma Grinlok. More slash oriented, and 6% more critical chance. With that syndicate mod and point strike together you get 94.5% crit chance. Oh and it has 2.9x multiplier!
Operation: Buried Debts is here. Still downloading, but we've got Hildryn, new melee phase one, and something called "Limbo Deluxe." And I assume the operation itself is another Orb Heist, but again, haven't played yet.
More info on Buried Debts: It's two part, half a scanning scavenger hunt, half a new mission type on the Vallis that is sort of like a specialized excavation. The scanning hunt seems to be glitching for now; several people (including me) have reported the progress resetting.
Okay who’s willing to endure an hour of the lowest level survival with me?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Seriously anyone? Please?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Gara has potentially infinite damage with 90 percent damage reduction. So...honestly kind of better then Garuda at both minus the fact she doesn't have a baked in way to restore her health.
But you can repeatedly explode gara's fourth ability to upgrade the damage her shatter shield does, and casting her fourth refreshes the duration on her shatter shield. Its honestly pretty great running around with a bubble of instant death surrounding you.
It does require some modding shenanigans to make work. You want 130 percent power strength for the 90 percent DR, then focus on getting range and duration as high as possible. Then mod your melee weapon for raw damage and nothing else, because the explosion of your fourth scales off that which translates into a stronger shatter shield.
With out doing modding shenanigans though, I guess garuda is probably better on average.
