As godlike Mesa may be, at least she can be played holding back. Unlike Limbo whos very existance is pain in the ass.
Anyhow, is it just me or there are almost no mining spots in Orb Vallis? Best I can manage is zapping some rocks around Fortuna, go down the lift, go up and repeat. Fishing also yields less standing than in Plains. Maybe DE are pushing new preservation mode.
I keep getting Limbo on my Mobile Defense missions, and these idiots just do not realize that they need to turn off their number 4 so that people can interact with the console. When I was mastering my Limbo, I just used 4 as a bomb—on and off, as fast as possible. Inefficient, but it didn't make anyone want to murder me.
As for mining in the Vallis, as far as I can tell the vast majority of mining nodes are inside the caves. Plus there are occasionally other things like loose Toroids, so searching through those is a good idea anyway.
I found a glitch on Warframe.
If you try to search the bodies of the Solaris crew and activate the K-Drive before you are done with the search...this happens.
Inter arma enim silent legesI use K-Drive on that mission a lot and have never encountered a bug. Should I try to replicate it?
And I just so happen to be out of buildable clan resources and invasions gave almost no fieldrons yesterday. It's actually pretty funny how little I spend in Vallis while starchart gets all the love and I've made breakthrough on Plains - got to love inexaustable archwing charges.
The three new vallis weapons are done. The Kreska and the Ocucor are meh, but the Battacor is amazing.
The Battacor is the charge rifle isn't it?
I really want to try it.
Inter arma enim silent legesSwitch port officially launches tomorrow at 11 am EST.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."As expected. I was really looking forward to it, but I guess now I'll have to get the Switch online service. Is there a free trial for that?
Battacor is the autoburst rifle. Every enemy you kill creates a charge that you can release with the alt fire, similar to the Opticor. You can hold a maximum of 3 charges. Pretty great, actually.
It's not a sniper rifle, and the primary fire does have travel time, similar to the Lanka. It's more of a mid-range assault rifle.
Basically they took the Sybaris and the Opticor and glued it together.
Since Warframe is f2p, you don't need Switch Online, and if you do, it's likely a bug.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Next frame is Baruuk the Pacifist.
We don’t got a move-set yet but he’s got a monk-like design & has a very unique way to play.
With a title like Pacifist in a game like Warframe, he should be very interesting.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."In a game like Warframe pacifist frame will probably soothe, mitigate and subvert. And then shoot dude in face.
He could have a passive that is powerful but only works when you don't shoot people. Sort of like how Volt's charge works, but without improving your weapons.
Exploring Corpus buildings outside Fortuna is fairly fun.
I've managed to climb the tower in the Space Port and the insides are filled with crates dropping a fair amount of loot.
I noticed they made mining a bit more easier with the rocks showing on map if you get close and the mining targets having a chance of giving you rare ores.
After seeing the Bettacor I really hope that gun is overpowered as fuck, because holy shit the build requirements...
Inter arma enim silent legesfrom the dev stream the the current plan is defense and mitigation, building some kind of meter or something until the reluctant hero reaches his breaking point and puts the hurt on some fools. Less "monk" and more "western antihero in a gi"
I suspect it's going to be similar in vein of Equinox but without the switch button control of which kit you're using.

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"There's a lot of fun stuff in the Vallis, and one of the things I find annoying about the bounties is that they only go to a few places. If you don't specifically decide to go to the Temple of Profit or the Pearl, you'll never see them.
Also, the fact that there are no missions at the Temple of Profit make it annoying to farm those particular Toroids. The other two you'll probably get incidentally from missions before you get enough reputation to actually build Garuda.
I getting annoyed with the bonds rewards.
Those family bonds aren't really dropping that often and now I am stuck with rep I can't use because I bought everything my rank allowed to.
Also the Battacor looks like reverse engineered Sentient tech, if the sentient corpses and weapons lab right next to that test chamber in the Corpus labs is any indication, this might be the case.
Inter arma enim silent legesFound datamass while killing in one of corpus bases. Used it on console and after defence section base came under my control with Solaris representitive with three bounties. It was late so I didn't explore it any further. I'm not sure if the base is still mine after that session.
Check Ticker! Maybe she got required bonds.
The base does not remain under your control when your session ends. I haven't bothered with them too much, so I don't know if the missions take you to more interesting places, but at least they're better than the Plains sidequests.
What I noticed is how resources respawn fairly quickly on Fortuna.
You can move in and out of a zone and there will be fresh ore deposits and crates. Basically you can make a farming run by moving between mines and facilities to gather resources.
At least the K-Drive helps moving around a lot.
Inter arma enim silent legesSo I picked this up for free on Nintendo Switch last night and it looks like a huge, sprawling experienced both Solo and Co-op. My question/request is, what tips and advice can you give a n00b, knowing nothing about the game up until now, about how best to proceed through the entire game experience? What key things do I need to know or do to get the most out of my first time playing through?
Don't worry about the open world areas (Cetus / Plains of Eidolon and Fortuna / Orb Vallis) for now; they're intended for players who have a broader selection of equipment than you probably have right now. Your first general objective should be to unlock all of the planets on the star chart.
Also, you should use your starting platinum on additional weapon and warframe slots.
Finally, don't sell any of your equipment until you've fully leveled it up (to rank 30). Leveling up equipment for the first time gives you points toward your next mastery rank, which in turn will unlock more equipment.

What Serac said. Warframe is a game where you make your own goals, but filling out the starchart is the only thing that's mandatory, since it opens up all the other options, like alerts and invasions and whatnot.
Also, do quests as soon as you qualify for them (they change the game significantly), never use platinum to rush a foundry build, and never sell a blueprint unless you are absolutely certain you have already built it once.
To add to the above, never use Platinum to buy anything off the in-game market other than warframe/weapon slots.
With new job, haven't really been able to do much Vallis, but today I decided to take the time - with my Akvasto Prime ready - to polish my Mesa up a bit for it. Finally put that extra Forma on I've been planning on for a while, Forma'd the guns 3 times, managed to secure a nice Riven (+Crit Damage and +Electricity) for it.
At the very end, my guns were like...5% off level 30. So I just randomly clicked a mission on Venus and ended up in a Defense with a couple MR 1-3ers. With a Mesa meant for Plains and Vallis. <.<
I may have gotten a bit showy.
