It’s a 4 mana card, it just is a 12/6 if you have 10 crystals. It’s basically a ‘deal with this and the other cards I played this turn or I win card’ which is more of a midrange thing.
You could play 2 of em and a 2 mana magnet card the second you got to turn 10, ramp Druid might come back.
A currently T1 deck might come back?
Just now I had a quest to get 3 wins with hunter or mage, so I went mage in arena, for my first arena run since the end of the Taverns of Time. Lost the first two games, then somehow ended up going 11-3, my best mage run to date.
Join my forum game!Bio Project looks nuts to me. I'd look forward to playing with it but I know it's probably going to be most effective in Taunt Druid which I don't want to play.
Looks like it's time for a first reveal: a Mage Legendary.
Stargazer Luna - Legendary Mage Minion; 3 mana 2/4; After you play the right-most card in your hand, draw a card.
How do lizards fly?Topdeck like a master.
It seems designed to encourage blaster Mage play with tons of low-cost spells. Because we really needed that deck to be more powerful.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It also has synergies with card generation affects, because those go to the right side of the hand.
Wonder if we'll get a card that does the same for the left side. What would the different implications be?
Isn't that what Magnetic is for?
Uni catMage Stargazer Hobgoblin deck full of 0 mana 1/1!
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson. And if you don't draw Stargazer, you just lose? Heh.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That describes half of combo decks.
Edit:Brode's new company name.

“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson. No, Magnetic let's you fuse minion if you play your Magnetic minion on its left side on the board, that has nothing to do with left and right positions in the hand.
The Midsummer Fire Festival is back. That means Double Gold, Fire Festival Tavern Brawl, a new PVE Brawl in the works and extra fancy stuff.
How do lizards fly?A new card for Shaman.
Menacing Nimbus - Common Shaman Minion; 2 mana 2/2 Elemental; Battlecry: Add a random Elemental to your hand.
How do lizards fly? They really need to stop doing these low mana cost 'get a random card' effects, they really ruin games.
Paveling Elemental
Uni catI have a serious question.
I frequent both the Hearthstone Reddit and this very thread, and I often hear about how randomness is a detriment to the game.
Cards that generate a random card, cards that produce a random effect, buffs that target random minions...etc. These are often cited as things that make the game less competitive, less fun, less consistent...etc.
Would someone please explain to me why that is the case? Is randomness really a limiting factor to Hearthstone's competitive viability? Or can someone point me to some helpful videos or articles breaking down this phenomenon?
Intuitively, I would have said that since Hearthstone has many professional players and streamers who consistently win competitions/climb to the top of the ladder, that would mean that skill is the most important factor. I'm curious to learn more about this.
Hearthstone is fundamentally about randomness and how you cope with it. The most basic element of randomness is what order you (and your opponent) draw your cards in, and it guarantees that each game will be different than the ones before. Now, it's not very much fun when your opponent plays a Spiteful Summoner, reveals a Mind Control, and gets Tyrantus. Sometimes the RNG goes against you and you just lose no matter how good you are at the game.
Some decks go for consistency and try to maximize the performance from every play and every draw. Other decks live and die on the roll of the dice. You learn to cope or you get salty.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"We've got four new reveals! Some of these... seem like they belong in the card dump at the end.
- Upgradeable Framebot - Neutral Common Minion; 2 Mana 1/5 Mech
- Wargear - Neutral Common Minion; 5 Mana 5/5 Mech; Magnetic
- Beryllium Nullifier - Warrior Epic Minion; 7 Mana 3/8 Mech; Magnetic; Can't be targeted by Spells and Hero Powers.
- Zilliax - Neutral Legendary Minion; 5 Mana 3/2 Mech; Magnetic; Divine Shield; Taunt; Lifesteal; Rush
Apparently only Paladin, Warrior and Hunter will focus on Mechs, which sounds like one hell of a wasted opportunity.
How do lizards fly?
Not power creep; Stegadon has the Beast tag while Omega Defender doesn't. Definitely balances the two (2) out for sure.
