I know, right? :D And it has a very unique tone for either Psychological Horror or Cosmic Horror, too! There's so much Mood Whiplash going on, it's incredible.

Oh! Yeah. I'm not sure whether I'd have noticed if I hadn't been reading the comments as well. But it is fairly noticeable in some scenes - especially Ouster Eve. The bats are only monstrous in the red-tinted panels, and the background colours keep jumping back and forth between green, red, and violet!

this comic is awesome and we should talk more about it.
I personally think the weirdness is a combination of craz- I mean disturbed people and a supernatural element that doesn't actually mean anyone harm.

Also the author has gone on record saying the story could be wrapped up with a 100-120 page count. He plans to have an ending there, but one that could be expanded upon if he so desired or fan response was large enough.

Like when Friends With Boys ended, I was mad, but then she started working on a new comic. With robots.

He has plenty of material left over from Ichor Falls... theoretically, at least, if he feels up to it and thinks it's appropriate to Broodhollow's tone.
It's kind of funny - the one webcomic for which that happened for me, I was relieved that the author and artist moved on to another series and then I never bothered to keep up on it.
...I should really go back and do that at some point.
