Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Bump.
Pan's reaction to this year's Comic-Con. Looks like he had a good time.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? The comment section of that video was terrible.
Unfortunately. Pan's fanbase is awful.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?On this week's episode, Pan takes a look at...
Why TV doesn't want Anime and Action Cartoons anymore.
Netflix licensing and producing 13 new anime projects by next year is proof that action cartoons and anime's future is on streaming already.
If VRV and Crunchyroll weren't already enough proof.
Watch SymphogearAlso what Pan didn't mention is that comedies are cheaper to make, than action. Like you can make a decent comedy show on the budget of two sandwiches and a diet coke if you are talented enough to do it. But you need an actual budget if you were to try and pull an action cartoon off.
The meme is love, the meme is life. Go check out my youtube channel. :) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5XjInl2Il9SGEQbyyU0djAComedies can take up just as much time and money. Just look at how long it takes to make new eps of Venture Brothers and Rick and Morty.
It isn't to say high-budget comedies don't exist and more to say that comedies can skim by on a minimal budget, though (South Park being the absolute king in that regard, known for being made with little money and even less time.)
A comedy's foundation is its writing whereas an action's foundation is its visuals, and when it comes to the world of animation one's easier to cut corners on than the other.

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaNew video on never produced superhero cartoons:
I kinda wanna read Scud the Assassin now, it looks hilariously fucked up.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Its a great concept, for sure. I'd also recommend watching the Great Screw-On Head if what was seen in the video is to your liking. Its just the pilot, but it was really good.
Didn't even realize this existed so I'm linking it here:
Pan made a vlog on his side channel about the Magic School Bus reboot. I'm fairly certain he was at least somewhat intoxicated when he made this (like hell he doesn't drink) and it's mostly just an unstructured, semi-improvised rant with his face blurred because he's incredibly determined to hide himself that just kinda devolves as it goes on.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Bump because Pan made an early vid on the Powerpuff Girls reboot special.
He mostly did this as a quickie video with Nolan from the podcast, poor Pan has been having a lot of stress from editing his vids that have led to flat out heart palpitations going on. His last vid took about a week for him to edit while this was apparently done in 10 hours. I'm kinda annoyed that he'd choose something this topical given he's usually steered clear of focusing on the same "controversial" shit the cartoon community always goes on about, but as a quickie I guess it works. I feel like he needs to take a little break soon, though, he's clearly getting overworked.
As for the video itself: he mostly thinks the special is so awful it's hilarious but the show itself is still flaming garbage.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Wait, the specials out already?
Ayup.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I see.
Question: do we have a source on the ratings PPG (2016) gets on average?
So Pan uploaded a video on his side channel that is partially him playing a Teen Titans video game and him ranting about the announcement of the Teen Titans Go movie (namely that it's overblown as fuck to rant about it, that people have the right to like it, and firing back at some of the common complaints). Now, Pan has gone on before about how the hate for Teen Titans Go is overblown as fuck and how annoying it is to constantly rant about it, and I honestly agree. I personally don't like the show but it's not the face of evil people portray it as.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Seems kind of defensive. While yes, people should be allowed to like something, people should be allowed to dislike something as well. The movie was just announced, to the point I don't think most people even know about it yet, so it seems a bit weird for him to come out complaining about people complaining... before anyone has started complaining yet.
Or put another way, he's made his point that it's pointless to complain about the show now. Multiple times. As have many others. At this point, id argue, it's pointless to complain about people complaining about it. Also, this is a movie, so if anything, it's a new thing for them to complain about. Pan complained about the PPG reboot Special that just came out, after all. Seems kind of hypocritical of him to complain about one reboot long after it's had any purpose, and turn around and get upset about others doing the same with a show he (kinda) likes/is indifferent to.
The problem is when people dislike it, they go overboard as fuck to justify it to the point where it's honestly obnoxious. Teen Titans Go has become instant clickbait for people to cash in on, any cheap as fuck You Tube channel can make tons of views off of ranting on the show. I don't buy that there's more complaints complaining about people hating the show when you can easily find several dozen generic videos hating on it. Pan doesn't even rant about the Powerpuff Girls reboot that much outside of the special (he's even said he doesn't know if he'll do a follow-up to his old video because of the hate dying down) and technically speaking TTG isn't even a reboot of the original series.
I mean, I'll give TTG credit for at least trying to forge its own identity, the PPG reboot is a lot lazier.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?So it's clickbait, and? As if Pan talking about TTG isn't also clickbait?
If you want things to change, start in your own home, as they say. He's made his point already; if anything, him talking about the movie has probably informed even more people about it much quicker than the initial announcement did, most of whom are probably going to go and complain about it on social media despite whatever he says. So whoop-dee-doo, Pan has just exacerbated the problem even more. (And no, telling people not to complain about it isn't going to make them stop. Pan isn't so naive as to think that; he knows that his TTG videos get lots of views, and people watch them despite not liking/watching the show, so he keeps making them.)

He's barely even made any videos on the show though? He has a right to say he thinks the complaints are overboard as fuck and honestly he's probably glad more people will know about the movie so they can go see it.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Never said he did; what I said, and my bigger point was, after saying people need to stop talking about the show, he makes a video about the show's movie, something which barely anybody had heard about yet, telling way more people about it who are now going to go and complain about it (the thing he mentions in the video he hates).
And just to make it clear, I agree with him: I also think there is no use to complain about TTG anymore. What Im frustrated with is that Pan has inadvertently created a self fulfilling prophecy: 1) makes a video preemptively complaining about people complaining, 2) people watch video and first hear about thing, 3) they go and complain about thing they've just heard about, 4) Pan feel's justified in his preemptive position, despite having exacerbated the situation due to his own actions.
Put even more simply:
Person A: "Stop complaining about this bad thing!"
Person B: "What bad thing?"
Person A: "Here, let me show you." (shows them thing)
Person B: "Oh man, that's awful!"
Person A: "I said stop complaining about it!"

That I'll grant you. That he made the video the day the movie was announced doesn't help. Given this wasn't on his main channel, I'd assume it was mostly done as an off-the-cuff rant because of his building frustration reaching a breaking point.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Here comes the 10th! Worst! Cartoon! EVER! (In no particular order.)
I don't think I've heard of this one. Any of you guys knew about this until now?
