Father didn't exactly want to know what a magical girl was (it seemed like the explanation would only raise more questions) so he simply nodded and watched as the other deities gave parts of their power to the seed. Giving a share of his power to that thing made Father listen to the screams once more. True, it only took another head shake and the screams were gone, but Madoka could see that he was going through some sort of pain as he gritted his teeth and massaged his forehead.

"Hm...." Palutena muttered as she looked at the others give their power to the sprout. She aimed an fired a blast of light from her staff at the sprout. The sprout started to sprout more and more, brightening up quite a bit as it absorbed the light.

Father's eyes wandered over to the Daedra, and he raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong, fellow deity? Do you not wish to help us in watering this seed? Are you... afraid?"

One by one, the other deities poured their power into the seed. Each time, the seed sprouted a little further, growing tiny roots that dug into the jewel that contained it, and beginning to grow a little green shoot that snaked it's way towards the edge of it's container.

Arceus, despite having had a bit of energy taken involuntarily, was the last to truly give to the seed. 16 glowing slabs emerged from his body, each one giving off a different feel to those who looked at them; the smell of freshly cut grass, a breeze ruffling one's hair, a strange warmth in the skin... A ball of coloured light emerged from each one, as well as a white orb from Arceus himself, which all sank into the seed as one.

The jewel swirled in a cacophony of elemental energy for a brief moment, and the contributions of the other gods could also be felt in the maelstrom, before the outer shell broke. All the energy of the gathered deities spread outwards, creating a huge spherical shape below them which coalesced into a ball of dirt. The sprout itself shot up in height, a proud shell of bark spreading across it's surface as leaves popped out of the top. Before long, it was as big as any tree that could be expected to exist, but certainly nothing close to it's gargantuan parent.

The little world was big enough for all of them to live in, but nowhere near as big as their worlds of origin. Or perhaps, not yet; the roots of the plant could be felt beneath them, pushing out at the edges of the planetoid and producing more earth as it went. The little world was growing.

Arceus looked up and noted that the sky was pitch black. They had a planet, but no celestial bodies to give this place light. Not to mention the planet itself. He could feel a stone core under the thick layer of dirt, but only trace water, and no life aside from the great tree. This was a start, but the whole project was still a work in progress for the foreseeable future.

As the jewel swirled with energy, a dark tendril snaked forward and gripped it momentarily, pulling loose a tiny fragment of the world. The piece was enveloped in the mass of dark tentacles, its light obscured by shadow.

This will suffice. Farewell, debasers.

The monstrous form of the Daedra wavered and vanished, a stolen piece of creation in tow.

So this is what creating things was like.

"It's not so terrible." Kefka said, levitating a few inches from the surface of the young planet. "Futile, temporary, but not without it's own worth." The Mad God's brain was swarming with thoughts of what to add to the budding rock, what forces and bodies of turmoil and mayhem to issue without cutting the planet's life too short. He didn't feel like making it again.

"I'm stumped," Kefka broke out.

Armok watched as Daedra took a piece of the planet and spoke to nobody in particular. "I wonder if he realizes that with a piece of all of us imbued in that he can't 'steal' anything. I don't know about you but I am aware of the presence of my own power." He looked around at the planet for a while, noting the world tree. "Where do you want to start? This place could use oceans, mountains, and life."

Father shot a glare to where Daedra had been standing just a couple of moments ago. He knew the seed would eventually grow and replace the tiny piece of earth he had stolen, but he hadn't contributed at all to the creation of this new place, and was therefore, not worthy to take something with him. He didn't waste any time in sharing this view with the other deities.

"First, we must all agree that the next time we see that thing, we shall punish it for stealing a piece of our creation without our agreement and without helping in the creation of this new world with his new power. He is no different than a common thug, and should be treated like so." Father said, his stern tone and clenched fists confirming that, yes, indeed, he was very displeased with the Daedra's behavior.

"Apart from that, we should first focus on the sky. What is the point of creating a beautiful world if there is no sun to shine upon it or moon to reflect the sun's light during this world's darkest hours?" He said, looking up at the sky. "Plus, the number of moons or suns will affect how life works in this world, so we should first work on that. Child?" He said, looking down at Madoka. "Do you have any suggestions?"

"Well... Um... How about one sun and one moon? I-if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?" Madoka said to Father. She was unsure what Father's deal was with the pained screams and his muscles, but if she were to guess, he was feeling the pain they were feeling... It would make sense for an Omnipotent god, right?

A At a considerably removed (yet in other ways, nearby) location, the Daedra released the piece of the world from His clutches.

It began to expand similarly to the rest, but on a smaller scale. As it grew, it took on distinctly different features from the planet below. Twisted by Hermaeus Mora's influence, it grew landscapes inspired by His own Apocrypha, with oceans of toxic ink and immense forests of bookshelves spreading across the surface. At the moment, each shelf was bare.

But not for long...

In a newly formed chamber deep beneath the surface twelve new books materialized, each on a stone podium and titled in Daedric script:

Everything about this new world must be recorded... I shall be the chronicler of this world. Acquiring the knowledge it offers will serve as a worthy diversion.

In the center of the room appeared another book, a single letter emblazoned on the cover:

In flashes of light, lesser Daedra began to appear across this new realm, summoned there by their Lord's will. A grotesque tentacled Seeker prostrated itself on the ground.

"Orders, my Prince?"

My Children... We Have Work To Do.

"Hmmmmm," Kefka let out, ponderously, "Perhaps I'll stick to what I know best, and that is catastrophe! I won't destroy everything, but there's clearly work to be done!"

The Mad God spread his arms wide. In but a few moments, a single orb of light accompanied cut itself into being above his head, heralded by the most unholy sort of screech. The hellish sound tore through every direction, almost as if the budding planet itself was pleading for another course of action. The light itself was no more pleasant than the sound; it was cold, and cruel in it's purity, devoid of mellowing yellows and oranges that a sun might provide. It did not exist to create or nourish, but to erase. It gave no mercy; it only judged.

"Annnnnnnnd......time to work...."

The wicked orb gave forth a beam only slightly wider than the god's wingspan, cutting into the fresh earth like it were air. Kefka kept pace with the beam, bathing himself in pure obliteration. Even so, he was to keep his word; he wouldn't destroy the planet, or the core-seed. He was all too interested in the potential havoc to sell himself short now. However, he simply couldn't spare the dirt-ball the pains of his own planet's interior. He would simply grant a gift of destruction that would keep on giving. Around the creation-seed, he would form a core, clearing veins of molten rock and cracking the surface with raw power. This would give birth to catastrophe for millennia to come. A fitting enough legacy, in his mind.

"Ready or not!" the harlequin screamed, "Here I come!" About a half mile from the creation-seed, Kefka took a sharp turn, taking his light with him; it was not so-much away, but around. He circled the seed and surrounding earth, once and again, setting the light of judgment to stray within the planet until it was done expanding. He prohibited it, against the light's very nature, to obliterate the earth serving as the seed's shell. The earth outside that shell didn't share the same comfort. As the moments stacked on to one another, the dirt and rock melted into magma, releasing energies of nigh incalculable potency in every direction. Chutes, cracks and crevasses tore through the earth with blinding speed, filling to the brim with magma nearly as soon as they were made. The earth that remained was pressed into incredible densities, spotting it with fine mineral items beyond the maddest miner's dreams.

Any gods viewing the development of the planet on the outside would notice cracks developing on its surface, swelling larger as the planet itself did. Some of these cracks glowed ominously, not with Kefka's light, but with the new power within the earth. The planet's surface, however incrementally, began coming alive with movement ,struggle, and heat. In some time the plating would make for its own entertainment, to those who shared Kefka's sense of humor. After some time passed, he shot out of the same hole he'd created, flecks of magma (now lava) spotting his purple body. His grin stretched ear to ear, with little to no exaggeration coming into play.

"If anyone feels like hastening the process," he said, "You're more than welcome."

Armok watched as the mad jester started tectonic movement and lava flow. It was a good choice, but premature. The depths of hell weren't down there yet, but it would cause the mountains to grow. Armok lent his own power to the process, altering it in subtle ways. "The Earth should have metals from orangish Copper to redish Iron to teal Adamantite as a result of this process. Especially Adamantite, holes in the lava rock covering the core which surround chambers which access the hells." Metal veins started to gather and form as a result of the lava flows, making the earth rich with minerals that would help any civilization thrive. Armok turned to Shinki and her demon maid. "Shinki, I would assume that you want to create the hells filling the core of the world?"

Meanwhile Armok felt out to the piece that Daedra had took, as that piece of earth started to be reshaped. It irked him a bit that he would invest his entire power in that smaller piece instead of contributing to the whole. So Armok invoked his power in that piece, introducing the subtle element of chaos to that land. It wasn't just his, so it wouldn't be fair for it to take only his choice of shape. It should manifest in small ways that would reveal itself in due time as chaos accumulates changes.

Father looked down at Madoka... and smiled. "A good suggestion." He said, placing one hand on her shoulder. "I would create said sun, especially after seeing our purple-colored friend create what scholars back in my home referred to as tectonic movement," he shot Kami a glare, almost as if asking if that is what he truly intended to do, "... and the moon has also been created by our ungrateful friend, so..."

He got down on one knee. "You have said you were a god of hope, correct? I believe it is fitting for someone with that title to create the sun, don't you think? You can do that, right, child?"

"Hm... I can try..." Madoka said as she flew up into the sky. She soon glowed with an intense pink light. Soon, the light faded, as a faint, pink light shown over the people. However, the savvy gods might note that there's no sun, but rather clouds with rays of pink light peaking out, not unlike a stereotypical representation of heaven.

"Urgh...Why. Did. It. Have. To Be. Light?", Yami groaned. "Very well...you asked for it..."

Yami then transformed into his energy form, his hand disappearing into the sphere once again. The markings on his body began to glow yellow, as two legs extended from it as well as two long energy swords, which were sparking with electricity. Suddenly, a huge satellite dish extended from the sphere and fired a laser at the ground, cutting out a larger piece of the planet.

After cutting this piece into a larger and a smaller one, Yami reverted back into his hand-form, grabbing the larger piece and placing it somewhere else, where it became evident, that he was creating a mountain, which apparently was completely flat on top. Now grabbing the smaller piece, Yami began to infuse it with the powers of darkness, it itself now absorbing light. Finally Yami threw the piece high into the (not yet existant) air, where the completely spherical piece of darkness now slowly began rotating in place directly above the mountain.

The Old One, who had observed all these events in silence, finally spoke up, his own cold, distant voice cutting through the confusion. The world must be realigned. he said finally, after surveying the forming landscape. Before anyone could respond to their cryptic message, the shadowy reptiloid had faded from view. ________________

Where the Old One stood, the enormous tree was barely a speck on the horizon. The parched earth swirled around him as they focused their will on the dusty earth. The ground shifted ans split as the dust swirled and coalesced into what looked like a sunken pool, lined with elegantly engraved stone. Within the pool, a strange viscous mixture shimmered; it seemed almost as though it existed in some other plane. It swirled and seethed hesitantly before finally erupting in a shower of glowing liquid.

Emerging from the pool was an enormous, bloated creature. It hesitantly tried to struggle out of the pool using its comically spindly arms and almost nonexistant legs. The Old One Watched, pleased so far with its progress.

The creature's eyes glowed sudenly. The other magically-attuned gods in the heavens and the earths would feel a sudden spike of magical power as the creature lifted itself off of the ground, floating hesitantly in the air as liquid cascaded off of its body.

" Rise, Scribes of the Old Ones".

The spawning pool continued to bubble and seethe as another hand shot out of the sacred waters.

"Pink." Kefka deadpanned, staring at the clouds. "I can tolerate pink."

Kefka's mind returned to how he could add his own personal touch to what was already being made. The core and plates were just right, but those might take a good while to make for anything exciting. He had all the time in the world, but he just didn't feel like waiting that long.

"How about some weather," he said, grinning, "but first, there needs to be an ocean, right?" He turned towards any of the groups still present. "Now ocean's aren't quite my thing, so I'll need an able hand in making one. Creation, destruction, we both get what we want. We just have to fill in the dips that form in the planet, is all!"

"I can summon water," Arceus said, "but I cannot be in many places at once to do so. You raise a good point about the need for assistance, and I have an idea. Bear with me."

He floated a few feet away from the other gods and closed his eyes. Layer by layer, a glowing circle blazed into existence in the dirt around him; one that made no sense in any alchemical terms Father would be familiar with. The plates emerged from Arceus's body again, and a tiny spark came from each one which all fused together directly above the beast-god in the centre of the circle.

As the circle faded, the dancing lights also faded, revealing a pure white egg. Arceus returned to the others, taking the unborn creature with him. "This one has a great genetic potential. It's descendants will be of many forms and powers and spread across the world, though few of them will ever truly match it's might. For now, it will serve as an excellent assistant." As he spoke, cracks appeared in the egg, which slowly spread across it's surface. Then it exploded, scattering shell everywhere in a burst of light.

When the light faded, A bright pink kitten-like creature with large blue eyes and a long tail, hardly an imposing image, was floating there. It gave a respectful nod to it's creator before looking around the assortment of other gods. After a few seconds, it made a beeline for Madoka, almost flying right into her face before stopping and hanging there, staring right into her eyes.

The winged orc reached into the bag at his side and, with a mighty heave, held a glimmering moon above his head, full-sized and with a few lakes on the surface.

"Krezznorg's home planet had ten moons, he thinks that it'll lead to more stable tides. Krezznorg can make do without his weapon of choice."

With that, he placed the moon on his shoulders and began spinning. "STROOOOOOOONG... TOSS!"

He let go of the moon, which arced far and away, before finding an orbital path between the new planet and the other moon. The orc then began rummaging in his bag. "Krezznorg has a decanter of endless water in here somewhere..."

Armok took a close look at Mew, help? The creature wasn't quite a god but it was powerful with an interesting genetic structure... Armok looked deep into Mew's being and learned something rather interesting. Inside were many potentials. Most were unexpressed in Mew. A small red globe of blood detached from Armok and started to bubble and form. What Armok thought was Areceus's aim was a bit high for Armok's power investment. So he tried to recreate this simpiliar creature, another Mew. "You gave Mew the unused potential of a vast number of creatures." The red globe formed and reformed, finally solidifying into an egg. The egg shined with evolutionary power and out came.. a Mew. But the creature's form was unstable, and soon collasped into goo. It Unusual as it was colored black, about 10% larger than normal dittos, and kept floating through Armok's will, but Ditto was born nonetheless. "Ditto." Armok stared at the creature blankly for a few moments, he'd not failed before unless he meant to fail. Then three more red globes detached from Armok repeating the same process. The first formed a perfect Mew, pink, the right size and everything, but turned into a Ditto like before. The second created a Mew made out of solid Bronze. It moved for a bit and lasted longer, but soon like its brothers collapsed. How it still moved as though it was a blob while being made of metal is a miracle of Armok. "Ditto." "Ditto." The last one too much longer, Armok putting much more effort into trying to create this clone. Finally the egg formed and formed into a Shiny Mewtwo, a green version of the 'improved' Mew. A telepathic voice reverberated through the area. "I am.. alive."

Armok suddenly realzied that he'd focused on his work creating Pokemon and tuned back into the others that were probably watching him. "Most impressive, Arceus. Your work is very difficult to re-create." As Armok waited for a response, the three Dittos started to examine eachother. Poking and prodding, and taking geometric shapes.

The vast display of theatrics from the other deities didn't seem to impress Shinki. As she watched in silence as they made their new world, she simply rolled her eyes, muttered something inaudible under her breath and snapped her fingers.

And thus, with little to no fanfare at all, the underworld was brought into existence beneath the surface of the world. This was Makai, the demon world, otherwise known as "Hell"; a pleasant place to visit if you're willing to put up with its demonic inhabitants.

"Ah, I forgot how kids always like to show off," the demon goddess chuckled, as she stroked her child's golden hair. "I've always believed that simplicity is the best way to go about things, though."

There was a hissing sound.

Suwako slowly removed her hat. The massive white serpent that had slithered from it was rapidly drawn back in, vanishing into the darkness. She placed it back on her head, and then folded her arms. She was hardly against the creation of the planet, obviously. However... she felt that this wasn't the right way to go about it. And besides... the purple one, Kefka, he wasn't even a deity of earth!

Suwako, on the other hand...

A smile came to her lips as she slowly drifted down to the planet, the heat causing her skirt to flutter rapidly as she landed. Her hat, however, did not suffer the same fate. Her feet touched the bare, heated rock, and she winced ever-so-slightly. It wasn't comfortable... but it wouldn't burn her. No, no...

"... Nah, I've got a better idea!"

And, spreading from where she stood, the surface of the planet began to cool. Of course, internally it was full of molten rock and heat. Planets had to be like that. But the outside was cooling.

"And now... time to show everyone why I'm an earth goddess!"

Suwako grinned widely, and shut her eyes. Focusing, she took a deep breath... and the tectonic plates began to move again. As they moved, exposed molten rock instantly cooled. Letting the planet burn and melt for ages wasn't necessary when someone who could control the earth itself was around. If this got done fast enough and water got added, Suwako could even get a start on the vegetation!

"Hrmpf...organic waste of space...", Yami growled. Floating to the top of his mountain, he extended his hand towards the Nightmare Moon, channeling his powers. A dark ball formed in Yami's palm, cracks appearing on it and finally the ball shattered. A black fog was flowing out, forming five shadowy figures. Now they were nothing more than that - shadows. But soon they would have fully materialized in this world, ready to spread evil over it.
