Amusing idea for a mission: Transporting exotic pets that break loose on the ship.

I think carrying a criminal who breaks free could be interesting. Also, I updated my equipment list a bit on the sign-up page.

So when do we plan on starting?

Are there any jobs to do with security that don't encompass a Red Shirt with Plot Armour? Maybe a bodyguard hired for the captain? It would probably fit my character better, as it would probably pay more.

Okay, well, after talking it over with Claw, we've found a way to compromise on Isaac. However, Neffy still seems popular, so I'm hesitant to not use her, even though I really like my engie idea. The main problem is that I need someone for her to imprint on, and most of our people... don't seem really like the right people for the job. Most of them are of fairly bankrupt character, and the ones who aren't are non-human enough that the imprinting wouldn't really work... so I'm kinda in a pickle here...

Screech spends most of his time inside a robotic suit of armour. Maybe she could mistake him for an actual one?

Well the problem with that is that she's not an actual robot. She's a cyborg, so she'd react most positively to a human presence, not a machine. And to be perfectly frank, I'd... kind of prefer the one she imprints on to be younger if they're male. Having her imprint on a guy (which is basically the equivalent of identifying a parent/caregiver/first friend) who's even older than she looks (and far older than she is mentally) is... kind of creepy. Like, on a potentially rapey scale. Doesn't matter if that's not actually what they're like or what their intentions are, but it's still just kinda creepy, and not really what I intended for the character.

I get it. That's fine too. May I suggest Good is Goods character Victor Shen? He's a cyborg, and is the second youngest on the ship.

Yeah, but he doesn't seem like an ideal caretaker. He comes off as too jaded, like many of the other crew members. Also, from a personal perspective separate from my character, his face scares the crap out of me.

I dunno, I'll roll with the punches and see who I'd rather play when we finish closing off signups.

Of course, I could eschew both for another security officer if you think we need one. I had an idea for that too.

I dunno... I really like N 3 PHL 1 M's concept, and I imagine two PC security officers would be enough. We can probably hand wave the rest away as NP Cs, but you'll have to ask Claw about that.

Alright. I'd rather stick with one of these two anyway. Maybe I can convince someone to take either Neffy or Isaac...

I dunno, Penny's pretty inoffensive, if you'd be willing to consider her to look after Neffy.

Maybe Issac might have to help repair the Black Screech armour, and Screech and Issac bond over that?
