It is, it is also about Hollywood and does have a lot of funny moments too. Very unusual despite what the first few episodes would have you believe. Give it till ep 8 if you do decide to watch.

Okay, I'll keep on going. I've gotten recommendations before from friends whose sense of humor I trust, but the first few episodes haven't clicked for me yet.

I've only stayed there once (in May), but I stayed at the Titanic Comfort Mitte because it was one of the cheaper hotels I found that was still pretty central. It's right on top of the Spittelmarkt station and a close walk to Checkpoint Charlie.

I wound up getting my Air Bn B already. I'm hoping it'll be a great trip!

Oh yeah, I never looked into air bnb but that ended up working out really well during my earlier Japan trip

I did a hotel for Tokyo. Turns out someone I'd known from the states also happened to be staying in the same hotel at that time.

I started reading the Konosuba light novels. They're pretty fun reads but they also give me more appreciation for how good the anime was at adapting the material. It interpreted it in creative ways, and added a lot to it with its energetic voice acting and stellar animation.

Man, it's cool, I forgot what I was looking for a response for anyway.

In the latest travel news: Berlin, check. Brussels, check. Now off to another Euro city.

Damn, you go to places. Guess being an attorney does pay, huh?

I've been to North Korea (I think?), Japan, China, Thailand, US, and Canada. I should really visit other four continents one of these days. Preferrably safer ones. XD

It's not so much that my job pays. I've just got the vacation days for it, and since I've got few attachments (single, no kids, etc), I can just go on short trips every now and then. These will be the last ones for a bit while I save up again, though.

Latest part of my vacation is in Sweden, which means...

I'm spending time staying with our former troper, Kayrivette! She says hello, all!

Just watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

I highly recommend it. It has surprisingly coherent and well structured narrative, and absolutely spectacular animation that you have to see it for yourself.

I give this one four stars out of four, and I'm completely serious when I say this: this might just be the best Spiderman movie period.

So, a bit of my life:

My most recent ex-girlfriend just called and told me she's getting married. I congratulated and wished her the best, but it left a bitter feeling in my heart.

See, while we were dating she kept dropping hints at marriage. Unfortunately for her, I picked up the signs but had to ignore them. It was going through dark phase where I didn't know what on earth I was doing with my life future prospect looked uncertain. Majoring in liberal arts does that.

Well, so as my final semester in college went, we both got busy and resulting lack of time together gradually led to our breakup. No tears, no fights, only drifting away.

When I got her call, I happened to be listening to Ed Sheeran's Photograph and boy it was a both right and wrong time.

Now though, I finished my military service and just got accepted into the most prestigious English graduate program/Translator training program in my country. Depending on how well I do, I'm set for good. So I'm in a more stable state of my life, maybe even more open for the prospect of a real relationship. So much for that.

Oh well, we both moved on and life goes on. And I need a drink.

I just came back from Into the Spider-verse. It was absolutely incredible, I hope there's some follow up to it. The humour was also really well done.

In other news, I got a promotion at work. This is the first time I've been promoted within the same team, so it feels pretty sweet.

Roy, shit dude, that's rough. Don't let it get you down tho, you have a bright future ahead of you.

Personally, I've got a new job, unfortunately it kinda sucks, but it's temporary, and somewhere next year I'll be changing my qualifications to get my dream job. So that;s nice.
