Return of the Naruto Community Derail Thread: Part Two!

Well, here's my plan.

I work today and tomorrow, and then I will use what is called Compensation Day (or short, Comp Time), which is a free off-day you get for doing extra work.

And comes July

• Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday is off due to the Independence Day and I shall use another Comp Time (I have total four stacked).

• Week 2: I will go on a 5 day long leave, from Monday to Friday.

• Week 3, 4: Repeat

Lastly, August

• Week 1: I start clearing, which is a process that I turn in my army gears and basically tells me that I more or less no longer work here.
• Week 2,3: I'm cleared, so I don't have to show up to the work, although I still have to stay in the base.
• The final week: Goodbye, Army!

Of course, this is Army. Things never go according to the plan. It's still better to at least have a plan, though.

Well....this is update is half-ugly.

but it's not so bad once I use Night Vision.

I'd been using Night Vision. There is one major issue - unread posts become hard to read the first time through (even your own posts).

Yeah, this update is ugly, buggy and less functional. I really don't see the point.

I don't really like it either but I'm not sure how much of that is just 'they changed what I'm used to so I automatically hate it.'

Also it seems to log you out every time you close out?

So that's annoying. Hopefully they're not calling this done.

So last night in the World Cup 2018, Korea beat Germany, 2:0.

...Seriously, Germany? What happened? Of all teams, you really shouldn't lose to the Korean team, which is a goddamn joke.

Well Argentina cheated and STOLE Nigeria's entry with a handball, so I wouldn't completely dismiss anyone who thinks there's a conspiracy to have Messi and Neymar meet one last time in the Cup...

South Korea's win saved Mexico's ass. Now Mexico advances because of them.

Here's Mexicans hoisting the South Korean consul-general to Mexico on their shoulders as they chant " Korean, Brother. Now you are a Mexican!"

Started to read Yuru Camp.

Gotta say, this has actually managed to get me hooked.

I heard good things. it looks qute.

Yuri Camp is quite good indeed. Very relaxing series.

Something about this manga feels really different from other Slice of Life series. Whatever it is, I'm loving this for it.

Also watched Sicario: Day of Soldado. It's kind of like Jurassic World, in that it is full of holes in narrative if you really think about it, but it's just so exhilaratingly fun.

It's the relaxing atmosphere. It does good for the mind.

Oh hey, Death Battle's next video is another one I've been calling for for years now - Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai. Jack should win, though. But then again, they got Knuckles vs Donkey Kong wrong, in my opinion.

Now if only they could follow that up with Aku vs Shendu.

Death Battles has a spotty record for accuracy to be sure, and sometimes their logic can be suspicious. But this will be cool to see nonetheless.

Just got out of Ant Man And The Wasp. Wasn't as good as the first one. Important note here regarding Infinity War:

Ant Man And The Wasp is set before Infinity War. The end credit scenes are set AFTER Infinity War.

Also, I think Kevin Feige is plotting the MCU for only two people: himself and me.

So I just learned that South Korean military was outright planning a coup d'etat.

Remember the whole former president being a puppet of a cult leader? Well, there were a whole lot of protests and basically the South Korean military was planning to first use special force groups and tank units to kill the protesters, which they already done before back in 1980. After that, they would take over the news media, law enforcement, and the legal branches.

Again, SOUTH Korean military, not North. Holy fuck. I've actually went to the protest three times, so I could've very well been killed. Thank God one of the high ranking officers thought that was fucking bonkers and leaked the document detailing the plan.

So what you're saying is, if I go to Japan later this summer, don't try to take a day trip to Seoul?

You really shouldn't, for your own safety.

The summer heat is unusually strong in Seoul this year.
