They’re making a Batwoman show, and Arrow has tons of Batman villains running around, so I’d assume several.
Him being John Dee / Doctor Destiny makes sense though. Plus it would make a neat JLA reference, especially if they do the bit where he initially uses some other tech against them, but in the process accidentally gets an array of poorly defined dream powers.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain....
Does that mean, he'd be defeated by an arrow to the face?
Sure, it'd probably be ollie instead of Connor Hawke, but still we all love the Boxing Glove Arrow.
One Strip! One Strip!I still want a boomerang arrow, though. Just to use the Hawkeye reference. "Because...boomerang."
(6) I mean that we'll probably be seeing a lot of gender-swapped characters and roles, or characters that fit similar roles, and that the setting of the CW-verse is becoming more female-centric/inclusive, as the Ame-Comi and DC Bombshell universes are.
We're getting Nora Fries cast instead of, well, Victor Fries, the one who isn't known for being in suspended animation. I suspect their roles are going to be reversed.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I actually kind of prefer the way that Batman beat Doctor Destiny in that Justice League episode — by intentionally getting an earworm stuck in his head ("Frere Jacques") and getting it to drive Destiny mad.
Ok. That's cool .

So apparently the monitor will be in it... he should do something
You're going to pay a price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to choose to not pay a price.Should he do something?
So that could mean that Batwoman will be from a different Earth entirely?

And I assume the ones in the new platform would have its own world.
Wake me up at your own risk. It'd be interesting if the crossover doesn't actually involve characters from any of the shows, but is instead all about their doppelgangers on a parallel Earth.
Probably getting some big Arrowverse news today, 9 AM PT.
I have heard from another source I trust that it is Batwoman-related, and I suspect it will be the suit reveal.
Edit: Yep.
I really like it! Very clearly inspired by the recent Sideshow Collectibles figure. Only nitpick is that there's not more red, but I get why they'd stray from that (though her gloves and boots are a bit ambiguous).

My stories on AO3.What the hell were they smoking between seasons?
This is the version of Malcolm that makes sense but only if you watch Season 5 by itself. Take one glance at Season 4 Malcolm and this scene makes no damn sense.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Malcolm's personality changes every season. Nothing new, really.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Eh, that scene makes perfect sense to me. Malcolm was always sociopathic, but still would do anything to keep Thea alive.
But just last season he was... I mean he...
- Season 2: I care about you Thea but I also care about myself
- Season 3: I care about you Thea but you're my Get Out Of Lifelong Assassin Club Membership Card
- Season 4: I care about you Thea but Lifelong Assassin Club Leader 4 life
- Season 5: Oliver, Thea is my family and I care about her more than myself - family means more than emo, Season 5 character motivations. I thought you'd understand that.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Yeah, but he's no longer the leader of the League. In fact, there is no League. So his motivations went from "The League and my daughter" to "Well, no more League, so I guess all I have is my daughter." Again: makes sense to me.
It's not unreasonable to think that Malcolm is looking back at the times he chose something else over Thea, and sees that it hasn't made his life any better. He still lost the League, lost his hand, had every attempt to ally with a more powerful supervillain blow up in his face. Over on Legends, he was repeatedly referred to as a wash-up, to the point that dropping him back in his crappy apartment is considered punishment enough. He's probably thinking, "Maybe I should have put my daughter first, after all."
Oliver still should've just killed him though.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here?I mean, he dies anyway. Plus, John Barrowman was just too much fun on screen.
I think Oliver kept him around in hopes that if Thea ever got into trouble that required a Heroic Sacrifice, Malcolm would do it.
Good plan Ollie.
One Strip! One Strip! And then in Season 6 it was revealed that he (or rather the faction loyal to him) was secretly looking for more Lazarus Pits, so his 'heroic' sacrifice got kinda undone too. The one thing consistent about Merlyn is that he is an irredeemable piece of garbage. And yeah, Ollie should have killed him way earlier.

I believe in those universes it's Nora Fries that becomes Mrs. Freeze instead of her husband.
