How do I find an old Image Pickin' or Trope Repair Shop topic?

How do I know if an article I want to start a topic for has already been discussed?

When a Trope Repair Shop topic has concluded, the thread is closed (locked) and automatically moved to the Repair Shop Morgue.

When an Image Pickin' topic has concluded, the thread is closed (locked) and automatically moved to the Image Pickin' Morgue.

When a Short Term or Long Term topic has concluded, the thread is closed (locked) and automatically moved to the Projects Morgue.

When is a Trope Repair Shop topic closed?

  • When action was decided to be necessary and said action has been completed.

How do I reopen a closed Trope Repair Shop or Image Pickin' topic?

First, make sure you have something new to contribute. If a topic got closed, it was probably for a good reason. Topics will not be reopened if it's just to argue with the conclusion or rehash the same debate.

To request that a topic in the Repair Shop Morgue or the Image Pickin' Morgue be reopened, send a Holler by clicking on the Report Post icon (exclamation point inside a yellow triangle). Your message will be read by the moderators, who will decide on the appropriate action to take.

If you are raising a new issue with an article or if you wish to propose a new image for an article that has already been the subject of an Image Pickin' conversation, it is best to open a new topic, rather than continuing a previous discussion.
