Other people are guessing it's an Avatar of Emrakul, checking out what Bolas is trying to do. Reasoning behind this guess is a lot of visual similarities between The Wanderer and various depictions of Emeria. That, and depending on how you read Jace's vision in The Promised End, it's at least implied she will be present in some form during the climax of War Of The Spark...

Today's Mothership preview: Single Combat
Massacre Girl.◊ True to her name.
...I'm in love.

In other news it seems we now know who the staff wielding planeswalker is: Kasmina (though no card reveal for her yet).

And Introducing Kasmina, well now we know what she looks like.
Not really a blue player mind.
She seems a pretty awesome character just based on flavour text, tho'...

Her passive seems pretty in line with Blue mechanics, given that it messes with opponents' spell-casting.
Creating Wizard tokens along with a draw and discard mechanic in one ability? That's potentially very useful and also very Blue in nature.
Disgusted, but not surprisedGetting back in the game and looking at spoilers. WTH is up with The Wanderer?
GIVE ME YOUR FACEWe don't know.
Bad News for the Heroes, featuring Enter the God-Eternals.
Niv-Mizzet: No Longer Just Izzet, featuring the official reveal of Niv-Mizzet Reborn.
"Oh yeah, we did kind of just leave a bunch of dead gods lying around with a dragon who had a method of creating super mummies."

Disgusted, but not surprisedI feel like something's being told out of order here, because I certainly don't remember seeing Niv bite it.
For reference, there was supposed to be a free prequel novels that was pushed back to summer. By the way, the Gamespot reveal for Finale of Promise included a massive spoiler for the ending that has since been edited away from the page. The original text said that Niv-Mizzet gets reborn through Bolas' Elder Spell, with the implication that the heroes will defeat Bolas by redirecting the spell to target Niv instead of him. Also, the cycle of the guild members working together is probably depicting the guilds coming together to power Niv Mizzet's rebirth. Especially the black one seems to suggest so.

Maybe. I'm not sure how learning secrets or smashing shit◊ would fit into that.
Not releasing story for this set is a crime.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Agreed. Just when I was ready to forgive Wizards for the unsatisfying mess of the Dominaria storylines, they do this.
So, there's a Cycle of "X's triumph"-you know, "Chadra's triumph", "Nissa's triumph", etc., etc.
Now, we've gotten "X's triumph" for every color except...Black.
Now, it's not done yet I would be intrigued to see if Liliana gets one of her own.

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.A promo version of that already got spoiled.
I guess the regular version might give something away or something.

I'd like to see the regular version have some flavour text. "Her triumph was not from..."?
I do like that first comment:
- "'I never thought dragons would eat MY spark,' sobs man who voted for the Dragons Eating People's Sparks Party.""
I also liked this one for the Black Comedy:
- Bolas "You've lived a good life."Domri "I'm only 16!"Bolas "I said good, not long."

Disgusted, but not surprisedHe went out in a way true to his character: giving his own life to save another person. It's even more poignant that the person he saved was Liliana.
He at least found peace in the end.

Disgusted, but not surprisedIf that card depicts Gideon in Theros afterlife, it can become more complex than just plain dead.

One of Elspeth's Planeswalker cards did have an ability to destroy all creatures with power 4 or greater, and The Wanderer can exile a target creature with power 4 or greater...
