She'd be an odd fit for Ravnica, since her specialty is large sea monsters. She could be searching for one that lurks in the very deepest darkest depths of the undercity or something, I suppose. The Simic did have leviathans, but they were weird flying leviathans.

I'd like to point out that Kiora's DotP '12 Deck included several Simic Cards, including Simic Sky Swallowers and those weird flying trampler zeppelins whose names escape me at the moment.

Also the Dimir had a leviathan (Grozoth). I thought it was kind of odd for the guild of subtlety to have a giant leviathan, but maybe they just only show it to people whom they're about to feed to it.

I'm curious as to how the Dimir will be handled now that everyone knows it exists (at least, I assume that they became public knowledge when the old guilds were being torn down in the first block). I mean, I suppose they could pretend that the Dimir weren't re-formed like all the other guilds, but I doubt the general populace of Ravnica is dumb enough to be fooled by essentially the same ruse the Dimir used last time.

Is "we're totally going to see a Kiora planeswalker this set!" the new troper rallying cry for unreleased sets? Besides the perennial favorite, "I hope the next one's on Arkhos," of course.

I wonder/hope there'd still be the Lieutenants cycle for the Guilds.

@Idler: Grozoth does have defender, so presumably they use it for...defence.

Anyway, yeah, I'm annoyed at some of the retcons (guilds are supposed to be gone...) but overall pretty excited about the whole thing.

As for guild symbols, some of them are different, most are the same◊.

Still hoping for Ludmilla getting printed (even though it's highly unlikely).

Also, the panel from yesterday confirmed that there will be a new commander product every year, but they didn't make this decision in time to have a full one this year, so instead they're going to release a product called "Arsenal" that will contain a bunch of good EDH stuff but won't have full decks like the set that gave us Kaalia, Ghave etc. I think all the stuff in Arsenal will be reprints.

So, sort of like a "EDH Deckbuilder's Toolkit"? Sounds interesting.

I've also heard— I believe it was MaRo— say that if people can display enough interest, they'll put serious consideration into making a third Un set.

I dunno who'd be against such a thing, but I guess they just wanna see if they'll be able to make a profit on it. Of course, my response to such a question is, "Are you people stupid? Of course you'll make a profit."

Though I did like one guy's idea of bucking the Un-set trend of having fancy art on the lands by printing the next set with lands that don't have art at all.

I doubt many people are against it, but a lot of people are likely indifferent wouldn't buy it. The first two unsets didn't sell badly, but didn't do amazingly well either, hence he lack of eagerness from Wizards to do a third one.

The thing that interests me about Commander's Arsenal is that apparently it will include foil cards that have never been foil before. This could just be really old stuff, but I suspect it likely also means we're going to see foil versions of some of the cards from the original Commander.
