Well, but there is no mind control in this Noble Phantasm. The only mental influence element is there to not make the NP useless with the "Oh gee, seconds ago I was fighting Assassin in Holy Grail War, now I am sitting at a Round Table with Lancelot, this looks totally legit" card. Outside of that, the NP has no effect nor control over the target, and is a mere illusion. Assassin will have to establish trust and force his enemy to drop his guard with his persuasion alone, and the enemy, can still doubt, notice that Assassin screwed up his role and become suspicious, or even see through it and attack Assassin and so on, and so on.

He isn't sure of what to make of the Grail War, except possibly an escape from any arranged marriage his parents set up for him. • Abilities: Marcus has an average number of magic circuits. His powers manifest as a form of limited gravity control, with a range of ten feet. He can use it to make himself weightless, allowing for daring acrobatics, or to grind things into the ground at close range. While he can't activate it fast enough to drop a bullet, a smaller projectile or a human sized object can be rendered immobile through the application of his magic.

• Bio: Marcus' family is very keen on passing on their magic. They want to bring their family to a higher position in the magic association, and as such, are looking for a suitable wife from other families. They sent him to Archwood City with a catalyst specifically to gain renown. Even if he doesn't win, fighting in a Holy Grail War is still an accomplishment.

  • The girdle of Jibrail (B): A holy girdle given to Ali by the Archangel Jibrail to keep the power of Zulfiquar in check as the Archangel can never always be with Ali to stay his hand. This NP reduces the power of Zulfiquar to B, makes it far more manageable in terms of prana consumption and limits it's power to merely be powerful enough to easily cleave through any protection or defense equal to or lower than D. But even then, it'll break through tougher defenses if given enough time.

Okay Strigon, I've talked it over and there's some work to be done here.

Stats are fine, no need to change those. There are two things about his skills which worry me. First is Aegis of Faith, because I have absolutely no idea what it does. Either remove it or explain it in further detail. Secondly, Riding Rank A. The only truly canonical Saber which has had A Rank Riding is Arturia, and even then that was only when Kiritsugu was her Master. Under all other circumstances, a Saber class has never had A Rank Riding before. While it is no doubt possible, I find it unlikely in this situation considering the canon history and the fact I see no significant feats regarding riding or mounted combat in this Servant's legend.

Finally, the NP. We all talked and we all agreed we're not really okay with the "swallow mountains" thing. That sounds hella broken, moreso than Excalibur which is canonically second only to Ea, and even Ea wasn't quite that powerful (disregarding the fact its misusage could destroy reality, of course). Even with an NP specifically made to limit it, we're not cool with that, because that implies that at some point that power could be used, which would basically utterly fuck Archwood City's shit, not to mention the shit of anyone standing in the way. As such, we'd like for you to scale it down a bit. It's fine if you want to make its swinging make fissures or craters in the ground (I actually think the bit where he cleaved a man in half, shield and all is pretty sweet), but try to keep it reasonable. Chances are if it can destroy an entire city block, you've just about hit the reasonable limit of what any Servant's NP is capable of.
