Needs Help: Party Of One

Party Of One seems like a premature launch. Only five examples, barely enough. Not sure if tropeworthy.

I say cut and send back to YKTTW. This was launched too soon. It's not even indexed anywhere.

ETA: This didn't even have a YKTTW. Definitely should be cut.

Seems fine to me. All we need is an index, some more examples and a little cleanup of the description.

I thought the page image was from South Park,; in fact, it was from My Little Pony. That alone makes me want to keep this page.

Toy Story is wrong, the toys are all alive, so it's impossible for the trope to show up. The poor structure of the examples makes me think that it was a "now to add another trope named by my favorite work!" trope.

If I remember right, none of the other toys in this scene were alive, and Buzz was losing his mind.

Did anyone else think this was an RPG trope? Seriously. Crew of One, Army of One, Party Of One.

The other two dolls were headless, but they waved when Buzz introduced them to Woody.

You could say it is some sort of subversion. It certainly seemed to be this trope at first glance, but with a twist in the end. I would still say it is a poor example, however. If I understand right, this trope is a mechanism to highlight the loneliness of one character. Toy Story example, if anything, was showing the craziness of one character instead.

Anyway, I think the trope is valid. It certainly felt Seen It A Million Times to me. I find weird we still didn't have the trope. I wouldn't be against sending back to YKTTW, though. IT really seems like a premature launch.

Toy Story example was certainly a Heroic BSoD, with just a hint of Drowning My Sorrows. Buzz wasn't hosting a one-toy party out of his own desire to.
