Probably laying stony pipe in his daughter.
My various fanfics.Because the Thing and Alicia Masters, his daughter, got married. But not just that. Before the wedding, the Thing paid him a visit at the prison, to ask him for his blessing... and he gave it. No threats, no conditions, no nothing: he simply gave him his blessing. Or did he? As we saw right afterwards (Fantastic Four: Wedding Special, not the ongoing comic), Alicia made a doll of his father, meaning that he gave his blessing under her control. So yes, he did not agree with the wedding, and on top of that he was made a puppet himself.
Still, he should have known better than to use the Immortal Hulk as his pawn. Sooner or later, either if he kills the Thing or not, Hulk would be free from his control... And Then What?
Ultimate Secret WarsThe Puppetmaster has always been one of my favorite FF villains and so underrated. He needs to headline his own Marvel event or something.
That may be a bit difficult... considering that Hulk broke his hands, and now he's incapable to craft any dolls.
Ultimate Secret WarsThat's a good premise for a event. Puppetmaster gets his mojo back.
Whatever happened to Kala, Queen of the Underworld? She was an early Iron Man foe.
The Protomen enhanced my life. She married Mole Man for a while; I forget if the divorce was amicable.
GAH! I was about to post about that. Man...
But yes, for those who dislike clicking things, Marvel Comics #1000 will have a cover exclusive to Disney's D23 Expo.
It's Mickey Mouse giving an 80th birthday cake to Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Panther, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel.
On twitter Chip Zdarsky said that Mickey mouse is actually a symbiote being covered over a mouse-like alien...
I'd buy it.
Well that explains Kingdom Hearts.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If that explained Kingdom Hearts we would have a fight with Ultron instead of a more heartless.
Spent the last few months reading up the original run of the New Warriors.
Boy, the male half of Turbo sure got all the bridges and Fridges thrown at him didn't he?
Poor bastard. Most heroes actually get to be heroes before they get murdered on the job.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, I felt bad for him, but on the other hand, Mickey was way cooler.
Unrelated: I just read a 3-issue arc Adam Warren did on Fantastic Four, and, uh . . . that happened. Thing's shell started replicating into destructive Thing knock-offs, he killed a bunch with cars compacted into little balls and skyscrapers compacted into swords, Reed talked to a bunch of alternate-universe versions of himself (keep in mind, this was 2002, long before Hickman's Council of Reeds or whatever they were called), and the monsters were destroyed by a possible-future evolved form of Thing's shell.
If that seems weird, I assure you, it is so much more fucked-up than that.
I liked it.

X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.'Maus' Author Removed From Marvel Collection For Calling Trump 'Orange Skull'
Yeah, I've read about that on other websites. The weird thing is that, if you want an apolitical essay, why would you hire Art Spiegelman? This is a writer whose most famous work is about the Holocaust and, you know, the current political climate in the US is getting increasingly fascistic, so what the fuck.
Honestly, I don't know if this was some editor who was worried about the book seeming to be political — the book, by the way, which includes Captain America punching out Hitler — and wanted to get rid of it or if they had an actual mandate from Ike Perlmutter not to include any bad references to his buddy Trump, but in either case, it's stupid.
Its really a shame to, I’ve read his essay on the guardian and it’s an interesting look on the rise and fall of Super Heroes in the golden age he even admits that he’s not a fan of Super Heroes at all. Spiegelman suspects that it might have something to do with Perlmutter.
As it is Spiegelman doing an intro for Marvel publication is a favor that he, underground avant-garde artist who tends to be dismissive of superheroes, is doing for them and not vice-versa.
What happened is that Alan Horn divorced Marvel Studios from Marvel Entertainment, having Marvel Studios directly under Disney, so that Perlmutter would stop interfering with the movies. But the comics? No, Perlmutter still controls them.
I mean, I doubt he actually does anything in regard to the comics — and there have been plenty of political comics, even ones that make fun of Donald Trump (before the election, though, I might add) — so, again, I think this might have simply been an overzealous editor who wanted to keep Trump from even being mentioned.
IIRC he holds no actual position now but is still one of their biggest shareholders, which gives him a lot of influence.
What was Puppetmaster's specific beef with the Thing, at this point and time again?
edit: ugh page topper.
