Yeah, sounds about right.
leah williams on twitter is saying don't trust the promo's or covers because gwen knows that stuff has to be intriguing even if it backtracks on her character development, but the inside doesnt necessarily reflect that https://twitter.com/mymonsterischic/status/1131249160836001795
And i strongly disagree, Champions has worked well for them and it has been so long since someone used it that it might as well be a new name.
I want to see Iceman and Angel point out that they're technically Scott seniors in the Champions.
I bet it'd be nice to outrank him in something for a change.
One Strip! One Strip!Sad news: Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is ending with issue #47 in August. This was apparently the creative teams own choice, rather than them being cancelled, but it's still a tragedy, because that book is the best thing ever.
Fake news!
How much of their choice was it? Was it a “we’re planning to end it here” leave or “you can go out the door with your head held high or dragged by security” leave?
Since the book apparently sells really well via Scholastic Book Club, I assume it was the creative teams own choice to end the book. After all, they had 58 issues so far (and an OGN), so why would Marvel want to end it right now?
It's a planned ending, yeah. What I'm surprised about is that Marvel is letting the book end when it sells gangbusters.

Solicitations for August are up, also I really like the cover for Captain Marvel # 9
A Power Pack story and Julie joining the Future Foundation. Is it trademark renewal time or are the Power siblings about to get a film or show? No? Alright, I'll count my blessings.
So Spider-Gwen is being relaunched again? I dropped the current run, maybe I get this one.
And I’m so happy that Runaways is hanging in there, I would be surprised if it’s not selling well in trade. I love superheroic stuff but I also like character relationship/development and Runways has been killing it.
Nice, I predicted since she turned into Harpy that the whole book would turn into a subversive and twisted take on the "Hulk family"
So USG is actually ending with issue #50, not #47 like I thought. #47 is just the start of the last story arc.
Yes, for some reason, Marvel is relaunching Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider as just Ghost-Spider. Same creative team, too. Not sure why, maybe they think the original launch didn't get enough attention?
That makes a lot more sense.
×2
The current run was building towards Gwen taking the "Ghost-Spider" name and the writer said this was always the plan.
×3
I love how creepy she looks and whomever is on the right too.

Not exactly the type of weapon I'd give Bullseye, i'm interested to see where this goes.
I don't know what in universe god thought that was a good idea, but they need to get their ass kicked.
Endlessly.
Then again, whether it has a Mjolnir like enchantment or not Bullseye is probably the one dude I can think of whether throwing your sword will always work.

behold the new abomination
...Is that Rick Jones?
The very best, like no one ever was. Check out my Spider-Man fanfic here! [1]It's Rick Jones and Emil Blonsky.
it's ricks body with bits of blonsky added on
Really living up to that name alright.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
That book is just the perfect Marvel series.
