Injustice: DC fighting games

I was more thinking that we'd get a character who is in the MCU movies before someone from the Netflix shows.

I'd think we'd likely even get an X-Men character over a character from the MCU Netflix series since Injustice 3 would likely release after the Disney/Fox merger

Agreed that they'd have to alter the designs of the Girls. Though now I wonder if the Girls do make it in, would they have the OG voice actors or the reboot ones (mind you, that Tara Strong already is Harley Quinn and Raven)

And the only characters from the franchises in my list that would side with Superman (either willingly, brainwashed, or coerced) would be villains like Voldemort, Dr. Eggman, Mojo Jojo, Ultron, Magneto, Venom, etc.

Bought Injustice 2 today on sale.

I'm only even slightly good at Smash and this feels pretty intuitive to play. Hope I'm not jumping on too late.

Never too late to jump on a new game.

Plus all the DLC is out so ya don't have to worry about new stuff to buy coming out.

Online will probably be murder, though.

I booted up the tutorial and it's a long string of Batman beating up Superman which probably sells the game's message right from the tee.

Yeah, as a massive Superman fanboy the reason I was so hesitant to get into Injustice was because of its treatment of Big Blue. The last game at least had the heroic Superman to contrast but we're stuck with just endless Batshilling.

Thankfully I'm just here for the gameplay (and the Ninja Turtles!) so I'll be avoiding the story mode. I just want to play online with my favorite DC heroes and ignore the bad parts.

Anyway am I right to say that there's no proper alternate costumes like in the last game and it's just gear?

There are alternate skins for certain characters (like, for example, Bizarro for Superman or Power Girl for Supergirl). They look different, with different voice acting and dialogues, but they play identically. Think of Echo Fighters from Smash Bros, and these skins are the same concept.

In this case they are called Premiere Skins.

That's cool. I can't seem to get them though. Do I unlock them? I know Raiden has Black Lightning.

I think you have to buy some of them and if you want to equip them you have to go to the gear equip screen go to skins and equip them.

Well hopefully Injustice 3 will be the end of the Regime Superman saga

and Injustice 4 can be fresh reboot... where Batman is the villain 'granted you wouldn't know he's the villain till like the last act of the game'

I have an idea for an evil-Batman story-line.

He's a total coward in it.

I'd rather have it switch to another universe where a different DC hero is the Big Bad. It doesn't have to be Batman, but it'd be really cool if it was Batman.

Evil Batman would be voiced by Bruce Greenwood 'Aka Dad Batman/ Young Justice Batman' just to make it hurt that much worse when you realize his the bad guy in all this

Superman I think would be Jerry O Connell

Oh no, I wanted him WAAAAAAY before that movie came out. In an idea I came up with two years ago, I had the idea of Mr. Mind fusing with the Time Trapper to become Time Mind.

Sometimes it requires typing the right search words, sometimes I just save them in case I ever want to look back on them. I still saved my bookmark on an idea I made last year (It got moved to "Yack Fest" since it was inappropriate for "Video Games").

Dialogue implied the Multiverse returning. So I guess it goes from the “Batman is awesome” ending since the comic sequel to the Superman wins ending had He-Man of all people showing up to defeat Supes.

If Injustice 3 is a multiverse story... those tend to end with Reboots 'Universe shattering kabooms

so an Injustice 4 could be a nice clean slate to start over I mean There really isn't much more you can do

Injustice 1 Had the Regime Fall

Injustice 2 had the one last chance with certain characters redeeming themselves others not

Injustice 3 should be the finale, Regime Superman's last gambit to regain control

that and I'm sick of Queen Bitch Wonder Woman She exists to be Lady Mcbeth you could have just made her Maxima/Faora/Ursa and gotten the same effect

so a reboots a chance to have decent Wonder Woman back

If only I could forget

I haven't been keeping up with DC, but I can't recall anytime when I'm supposed to rooting for Bats over Supes. I don't remember this back DCAU, any of the animated movies, & sure as hell not Batman V Superman. Most of comics I've encounter generally shows Bruce as a major dick & only a handful of people can him both in & out of Gotham.

I can only hope that in I3, the story will have Superman & Wonder Woman actually reflecting on their actions. Even though Diane is much more evil or self center than Clark is.

I wasn't aware that the "Absolute Power" ending was supposed to the true ending. I figure they just wanna follow up on that rather than just saying "That ending isn't canon."

Either way, if that really was the true ending then god damn, the Injusticeverse is incredibly incompetent.
