Note that you might still be able to check the history.

For example, this is possible for Beat Angel Escalayer and Custers Revenge. Get pages from history before that gets purged.

I'll try to make contact one more time.

If there isn't any success, I might consider using my power as admin over there, despite not being there for months.

Someone did mention two potential problems with putting this content on FFW:

Dragon Quest Z: Some of these wouldn't fit on this site anyway. The lolicon page still violates what is allowed here. Plus a lot of these pages are NOT fetish fuel anyway. They're just sex pages, which is not what fetish fuel actually means.

If you go ahead with this, you may need to retool both (1) some of the content, and (2) the stated purpose of the site.

And if the site theme needs to be retconned for these pages, then we're just having the same identity issue again that occurred here.

Making a new wiki for these works could be a solution, but if the message is "an auxiliary for works not safe for TV Tropes," then there's the content dependency issue I mentioned.

Honestly I don't see why making a separate wiki/site for the sexual things that don't fit here means the site would rely on this one. Can anyone explain why it would?

Let me explain. There was a certain manga site called OneManga, now basically defunct (though the board is still there). Before it actually pulled down its reader, there was another, not directly related change.

There was some problems hosting more mature works in Onemanga and the site was apparently getting complaints. Somewhat like what happened with the Second Google Incident, this caused a debate on what's safe and able to be kept. The site decided to move the more questionable series into a sister site, 1000manga.

So Onemanga became more of a safe site while the derivative site hosted what didn't stay. (Note that the FFW or another site doesn't have to be an official sister site, and considering the policy, it probably isn't a wise move to make it one. )

That's the thing: the site's basic definition includes the statement "Whatever that doesn't make it in site X is here." Tropes would be fine, but that derivative site would be a site of "leftovers" and not a wiki with an independent theme.

Well, actually, can we make say the NSFW Tropes Wiki (tentative name) an official sister site of TVT? Would Eddie and/or Google be okay with this?

Eh, it would be indirect advertising to that content if you refer to such site from here, so I don't know about that. But if in that site it calls itself a sister site, there's nothing Tropes can do about it.

I still don't see the problem with just using FFW, but if someone wants to amke an entirely new site, I'm not going to stop them.

If you guys want to persist this stuff we're cutting, leave us out of it. It is not something we are sponsoring. The intention is to remove it, not just move it around the Internet.
