Are we deadlocked?
We should just get a mod to call this and use the second (very similar) term as a redirect. This is pretty clear-cut, there's half a dozen names that people don't like, and two amazingly identical ones that people do like. It would be a shame of a long discussion to just throw everything out and lock this.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The problem isn't just the name. There have been some description concerns since the Alt Names crowner.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOkay, but we can at least get the renaming out of the way while people discuss the description, yes?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Nay, because the name problem is tied into the description one.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHm, good point. So how do we proceed, should we hold a crowner for the definition to break the stalemate?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Sure. In the meantime, I'll ask for this crowner to be unhooked. Someone else will have to make the def crowner as I don't know what options to put into it.

I find this rather silly. We spent a full year on this thread, everybody is agreed that "Eva Fins" is meaningless and should be changed, and now we can't decide whether to include all fins or only shoulder fins in particular? Surely we can resolve this in a better way than just throwing our hands in the air and tossing out a year of discussion?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I would stay with "vertical fins" at least. Not seeing a reason for a shoulder limitation.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree. Tropes Are Not Narrow.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Let's keep it at vertical fins.
Agreed on vertical fins.
OK, so vertical fins it is. Unless someone speaks up against, I'll ask for another crowner soon.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNew titles crowner's hooked and the title's adjusted.
Votes bump. Vertical Mecha Fins is the only in green with 7 ayes and 0 nays.

I think this is very decisive. We ready to call this one?
