When ever it comes to android 13 I always see the theory that Android 13 is actually based on a young doctor Gero. I recall seeing a mockup of 13 dressed as doctor Gero.

So the joke is that Gero was a southern redneck in his younger days

He was going through a phase!

What if Gero kept in his lab his hat from the good ol' days, and whenever he life got him down he put him on, to remember the gays of truckin'?

But, you know, if he looked like that in his youth, it would give an explanation of how he got married to Vomi (maybe she was into cowboys and the like, and aren't truckers the modern cowboys).

Does it matter? We call Dragon Ball characters by the "wrong" name all the time already. I know there's a theme naming to Saiyans, but...

Apparently another trailer for XV2 DLC was revealed early on Bamco's Latam twitter. Ultimate Piccolo is playable, which I guess makes sense, but also Beast is being added to CAC's. I did not expect that last one... Oh, also Cell Max costumes for CAC's as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if name of Gevo's brother is Miro.

Of all the naming schemes, the Gero family is the weirdest.

Maybe the idea is that, since a lot of characters have food based name, and the act of vomiting represents rejecting the food one has eaten, then Gero is a rejection of the natural world since he creates nameless androids that are meant to be superior than any flesh being (and everyone else got their names to keep the theming).

Or, you know, maybe that is how he got with Vomi, meeting the (hopefully) only other person in the world named after puke could be seen as destiny.

You get it by wishing to Shenron you could transform into Gohan obviously.

So Beast really is just Ultimate 2.

Really wish they went with "Final Gohan" in that case.

EDIT: In hindsight now, I want to say what we thought was Gohan achieving Super Saiyan 2 in the Cell Saga was actually him activating a Proto-Beast state from his Potential Unleash power-up from Guru.

But the Elder Kai's Potential Unleashing being more potent and godly was able to tap into the Beast within and let Gohan truly activate it later.

Don’t other people get shown using super saiyan 2?

As I've said before, Krillin has also had his potential unlocked (via Guru), which means with enough training and maybe even a boost from Elder Kai, he could eventually go Beast too. Then he can finally defeat that bee!
