Yeah, when I remember the Spirit Bomb was a last resort move, it kinda takes the edge off it...though now I remember how Kaioken got it worse.

And maybe Vegeta taking such a ridiculous amount of punishment would have worked if Krillin and Gohan had showed up earlier to help distract Vegeta while Goku charges it up, rather than Goku getting injured so Krillin needs to throw it (and miss).

Really the easy way to fix it is just have Vegeta crawl back to his ship uncontested cause everyone else is absolutely trashed and incapable of stopping him

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I recently came across this fan-animation that I found very neat:

The SEC Cards of Universe Mission 9 are:

• Super Saiyan 4 Kaioken Xeno Gogeta
• Demon God Mechikabura
• Super Saiyan 4 GT Goku w/ God Kamehameha

That last one would seem to be a boring choice, were it not for the fact that it has a unique God Kamehameha animation based on the 2nd GT opening.

Damn that’s one hell of a VA for a Heroes character.

That Goku vs Hearts segment, starting from 4:45, was animated by Dragon Ball regular Naotoshi Shida. You may recall his DBS work regarding Goku vs Rose Black, Goku vs Jiren, Goku vs Freeza and even DBS Broly with Gogeta vs Broli. This is, in fact, longer than anything he's done on Super (TV).

He's dubbed the "climax animator" by some Sakugaheads due to his unconventional talent.

Well, now I know who to thank for my favorite stretch of the Gogeta vs Broly fight.

Also, they could also call Shida "Budget Wrecker" 'cause this can't come cheap. What other anime has he worked on?

Lampodigenio, the Japanese theme of Trunks is "Hikari No Willpower". That's the pun. It doesn't work in English because "Anger" and "Light" don't sound alike. And honestly, it wasn't a very good pun to begin with, but two and blue isn't all that great either(although it's still better since 2 Super Saiyan does have green/blue eyes, 2 adds blue sparks, so more blue makes as much sense as anything). Something is better than nothing.

In hindsight, the English dub should have gone Furious God Super Saiyan, I guess, but at the time I would have just gone with Super Saiyan God's Wrath and then just shrugged my shoulders and say I tried when Broly showed up with a "wrathful" state he can stack with Super Saiyan.

It seems to me that's not a pun, but rather two words that coincidentally sound alike. If DBS played Willpower of Light at some point, then maybe I'd call it a pun.
