I mean, the whole concept of Broly as a character is he's a super-powerful screaming berserker. They couldn't really do away with that aspect of him.
But he wasn't a screaming berserker in his first movie, so that's not really true.
Im wondering how many people watched the video cause i was very curious if you guys agreed with the whole bit about passive antagonist being bad. Cause now i remember how he also said the reason Gogan flopped was because he was a passive peotagonist and he couldnt be a dragonball successor that way.
Do passive characters not have a spot in the db verse?
He totally was. He only had a couple lines showing his sadism, and everything else was either just screaming or barely-coherent (such as the "power... rising... overflowing" line).

I'm talking about a character who primarily screams like Super Broly or movie 10. That's not even remotely true of movie 8 Broly, who talks more often than his occasional screams and is also quite silent in comparison to the others.
And the oddity of his dialogue is something that is just really unclear in the script, as there were a few things going on that weren't made explicit. That really has nothing to do with typecasting him as a screaming berserker.
I do remember in the original movie that even when he went Legendary he still spoke some lines.
Nu-Broly didn't say a word once he started fighting....... holy shit he just did not talk for like 60% of the movie, that's hilarious.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The big battle in Super Broly wasn't 60% of the film, it was only like a third.
So uh...in related news; Vic Mignogna got reinvited back to Kamehamehacon...y-yay?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I may be exaggerating but Goddamn is it amusing that he just does not utter a single comprehensible sentence after he starts fighting.
He actually somehow lost it more than OG-Broly.
Oh dear.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ew, I hope not.
I’m worried afroproduction will pop in any second now at the mere mention of Vic so I wonder if they are still suspended after that argument I had with them a couple weeks ago.
Long story short: They tried PM’ing me to take Vic possibly getting a lawyer seriously by linking random Youtubers which I pointed out have no credibility, so things got ugly fast as they started insulting me & when I told them to stop they kept PM’ing me causing me to call in the mods to get them off my back.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Just checked it online. The fighting section is about 35 minutes of the 95 minute runtime, so yeah about 1/3rd of the movie.
However, that's also the majority of Broly's screentime. The first third of the movie covers the flashback. Broly doesn't meet Cheelai and Lemo until 37 minutes into the film. And he spends most of his time being stoic and following Paragus around
His actual characterization is a small part of his screentime. From 39 minutes to the meeting on Earth at about 53 minutes, he's able to interact with Cheelai and Lemo for about 12 (inter-spaced with what other characters are doing).
Huh, wonder why they started harassing you in particular.

It’s cause when they posted about Vic getting a lawyer, I pointed out no one cares (which was true because everyone else did ignore it) so they PM’ed me to basically go “WELL YOU SHOULD CARE!”
I also made a crack at how the Youtuber they linked to me had basically no views or subscribers so they were essentially asking me to take the word of a complete nobody on a serious topic not that I ever planned to watch the video in the first place really which royally pissed them off, causing them to start insulting me.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I missed the argument, and therefore most of the context, but what's the big issue with Vic getting a lawyer? I mean, that's generally what one does in that situation.
It certainly doesn't mean a "Get Away Scot Free" card, in fact, as a Law student, I'm willing to bet whatever you want that the first advice any decent lawyer would give is to just plead guilty in order to lighten the sentence a tad, the case against Vic is a very strong one.
Its less about vic and more about this one user being obnoxious as hell about it like most people defending him.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Oh, just an average delusional fan in denial, then? Common type, that one, best way to deal with them is just banning and ignoring.
Getting a lawyer isn't normal in this situation, actually.
Vic wasn't even fired, he's a contractor. He can't sue someone for not giving him new work. He can't sue the cons for not inviting him.
He really doesn't stand to gain anything.
Anyone got a link to one of their posts? I tried looking them up but got nothing
Likely defamation charges given the fall out of the whole situation.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.To help the searching their full username is Afroproduction 96.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."What I meant is getting a lawyer for the sexual harassment lawsuits he should be up in the neck with.
Unless, of course, the whole thing stopped with him simply getting fired, which I feel is getting off a bit light.
It's not defamation if it is true.

Him turning into a berserker doesn't really fit that either, so why not go the dual persona direction?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.
