I like that Moro is a wizard rather then just another strong guy.
I find it interesting that he sensed Goku sensing him. That's never happened before.
Who knows what we'll get out of this dude.
I'm wondering how Galactic Patrol dude can be so strong and not be known to anyone? Though no one bothered to ask Jaco if he knew anybody strong either.
...I fully expect him to turn out to secretly be a servant of Goat man. Evil is always stronger than good, and Dragonball has never allowed someone who's both this strong and good to be around.
I also agree that Dai Kaioshin might have been meant to be stronger but was weakened by this by the time Buu showed up.
...I think they might be retconning the existence of the other Supreme Kais besides Shin. I mean, I think Shin said there were other Kais besides South and Dai, but those are the only two we ever saw in the manga. It's possible those two were the only actual Supreme Kai and attendant, while if there were others, they were just normal Shin-jin or whatever.
It doesn't bugger Shin's story either. He still ends up with the job by virtue of not dying.
One Strip! One Strip! So wait you have a South, an East and a Grand but nothing else?
There are a West and North referenced in the manga, but we only see them in the anime.
...I fully expect him to turn out to secretly be a servant of Goat man.
Especially since his name is Merus and Goat Wizard's name is Moro.
While I don't disagree, I'm not understanding the connection between their names.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's just the obvious, no big thing around it. Two syllables, the first one starts with an M and the second starts with an R.

so marron and maron are related to him too?
I dunno, maybe! Don't put me on the spot like this! Seriously though, it's also because they're introduced in the same arc, and there appear to be two separate mysteries going on: how Moro escaped prison, and what's up with Merus (though Vegeta seems to be the only one interested in figuring that out). It's not a shock to think that maybe those two mysteries are related.
My guess: Moro has slowly been building his magic strength back up over the millions of years. Merus is a rookie Galactic Patroller, and he made a deal with Moro for power and abilities in exchange for Moro's freedom.

So apparently the Japanese fans have voted for their most favorite Dragon Ball movie.
What surprised me most is how high Meta Cooler is, higher than regular Cooler's movie.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's an interesting list, especially with Meta Cooler so high. My personal Top 5 list would probably go something like this:
- Battle of Gods
- Resurrection 'F'
- Wrath of the Dragon
- Fusion Reborn
- Dead Zone
huh, always thought Broly was more of a West thing.
Secret SignatureIf he wasnโt popular in Japan though they wouldnโt never have given him two more movies.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think that Broly is popular everywhere, it's just that it's a common perception that the West absolutely loves him, and Japan doesn't like him that much. A common perception found both here, and in Japan.
I'm watching the Broly movie now through Perfectly Legal Eh, Who Am I Kidding means. I'm justifying the piracy to myself in that I totally plan on spending money to see it in theaters in January, so it balances out.
I love that Bulma wants to be five years younger, but not more than that so people don't think she did plastic surgery, and Freeza wants to be five centimeters taller, but not more than that so people think he's still growing naturally. Freeza wanting to be taller sounded like the stupidest thing in the spoilers, but it's totally meant to be stupid and absurdly petty in-universe. I love it, this is hilarious.
They even address all of the obvious problems with it: Freeza doesn't want immortality so that he can't get paralyzed forever like he was in Hell, and Freeza doesn't want to just walk around in his 2nd Form because he wants to be taller in his true form (I'm mostly impressed they remembered his other forms, good call-back). Freeza's such a petty bitch here, and the parallels drawn between his and Bulma's vanity are amazing. It's also a funny way to undercut Vegeta's worries earlier about Freeza coming back with some comedic dramatic irony.
Oh my God, Broly actually has a personality, praise be the heavens.

Are you liveblogging the movie?
ยกPONLE QUE DIGA!:"ยกHUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"No, I just wanted to mention that part. I'm not even sure if I want to finish it, since the camera rip is so bad that it actually hurts the movie's main selling point: the animation. I think I'm gonna wait until it's in theaters to watch it fully.
Yeah, it's kinda hard to appreciate the animation with that quality.
I did managed to see some parts before mainly Goku going blue up to the defeat of Broly by Gogeta and everything returning to normal
also, the ending and Goku calling himself Kakarot, which I will always love

ยกPONLE QUE DIGA!:"ยกHUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"That seems like a pretty basic thing to be impressed by.
And yeah, this thing is out in Oz next month. I won't watch crappy camrip footage when it's so close.
i heard goku bites broly and must know more
Freeza's 2nd and 3rd forms haven't been referenced in a while. They weren't in Res 'F' (unless the lack of a 3rd Form was supposed to set up Goku's surprise at Frost's Assault Form), they weren't in Xenoverse 2, and they weren't even mentioned in the Tournament of Power (though 100% did make an appearance).
This movie also has something interesting regarding them: a height chart, which isn't too surprising: 1st and 4th forms are the same height, 2nd is the tallest, but there's one odd exception. 3rd Form is REALLY short. Like, barely taller than 4th Form short. I always thought it was just the same as 2nd Form but with big shoulder pads, a hunch, back spikes, and the extended head, but no, apparently the new canon is that 3rd Form Freeza is much smaller than 2nd Form. I think they exaggerated the chart to show 2nd being the tallest, but it's still weird to see 3rd Form being that small.
They're not referenced because they're not very important. That doesn't make remembering them impressive at all.
I'm almost surprised Toriyama didn't repeat the "Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin fight Freeza's lower forms" sequence in ROF.
Eh, I kinda liked the pattern of RELATIVELY weak Creator God/s and a single powerhouse Destroyer God.
