I am very curious how New!Broly will be treated by the games, especially in comparison to Old!Broly. Are the games going to continue shilling the hell out of Old!Broly, giving him even more new and higher forms, while only paying lip service to New!Broly, or are the games going to completely abandon Old and Busted Broly in favor of New Hotness Broly. Or, are the games going to treat the two Brolys relatively equally, maybe even fusing them together at some point in the future?
What would the fusion name of two Brolies be?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWouldn't that just be Broly? Like with fused Zamasu
That's stupid and lazy
Forever liveblogging the AvengersStupid and lazy is what makes sense.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.If you wanted to do something else, you could always swap the order of the syllables in Broly's name. How does Lybro work for you?
Broly2.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That's more like it

Not sure how to type that.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Broly Maximumer
Uni catOG-Broly will probably be handled similarly to GT Goku.
Maximum Brolly.
And regarding brutal fights Super Buu Gotenks pretty much decided to just beat the tar out of Gohan at one point.
Gohan was brutally beaten to near death on namek against the Ginyu Force.
At least videl did some damage even if she was against an opponent that could survive their neck being broken.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaGohan has an habit of being brutally beaten up. Poor dude.
Uni catYeah, the Videl/Spopovich is a lot less one-sided than some say it is. Videl had the clear advantage early on, kicking the shit out of him and even dealing what should have been a fatal blow. It's just that Babidi's magic allowed Spopovich to heal from a broken neck and gave him enough stamina to outlast her. Which reminds me, none of Babidi's other henchmen ever demonstrated those abilities.
She really didn't.
It's made pretty clear that Spopovitch was just toying with her wasn't it?
Anything she did was inconsequential and Spopovitch could have won that fight at anytime.
Maybe the neck breaking is the only moment where she caught him flat footed, but note that that's the point where he stopped messing around and starts messing her up.
I will say though (and we have had this discussion before) that there have been worse beatings, and it does serve a plot purpose (in showing us a bit of what Babidi can do via how much Spopovitch has changed), but it still does Videl dirty as her only fight in the series is...well is that.
That's it, and then she just sits on the sidelines like every other human and female. It can't be helped: she's the Chi-Chi of her arc. Introduced so late in the series that she has zero hope of ever mattering in combat, but if you're a fan of her, it's still a bitter pill to swallow, which seems to happen a lot with dragon ball.
I feel like there was more I wanted to say, but I've lost my train of thought.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm pretty sure the only point of Videl vs Spopovich was to piss off Gohan and justify him going Super Saiyan later in the tournament so the whole Buu thing could get started already. Personally I think they could have settled on a Your Mom joke, but it is what it is. I don't expect Shonen anime to be any good at writing female characters. (I'm not saying it to defend it but rather with, like, weary resignation)
Torture...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.And who would you say is a well written female character in Dragon Ball?
Uni catBulma is.
She's an asshole, but she's an asshole who retains a lot of agency and tends to, if not actually drive the plot like in the first arc, be pretty damn helpful more often than not; she has intelligence, gumption, and resources.
"And when the last law was down and the Devil turned round on you, where would you hide, the laws all being flat?"She doesn't get phased out...?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Well, saying "well-written" implies more than a margin of effort was put into writing them and I'm not entirely sure that applies to any female character. That said, evil future Android 18 is fine. She's petty and completely one-dimensional mind you, but it works to make her and Android 17 awful. Which is why it's nice when Trunks blows them up. I consider that well-written, I guess? Vados in Super is funny, so I'd count her in too. Maybe.
I'm not sure I'd count Bulma. When she isn't a magical science dispenser for the sake of the plot she's just that bossy/scary wife trope that every other character is afraid of because Rule of Funny. I like the concept of Future Bulma though. I wish Super would have made more with her.
