I've heard that Blizzard had been handing out lengthy bans for anyone using the Nvidia service.

Which service? Steam, Stadia, or Nvidia's thing?
Its Jizzard so Imma wager all three. Never underestimate the idiocy of man.
And of course everyone will try to jump on the streaming service for quick profit in the short term, because fuck long term planning and fuck anyone that doesn't have above dial up speeds and no data caps (which is a lot of people).
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.Watching that thumbnail, I'm reminded of how cringy the Wolfenstein twins are.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I've heard they're a massive step down from MG-era BJ Blazkowicz, yeah.
They are very frat bro-ish.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's supposed to be cringy? So, uhh.
Pepsi is healthy for me and will cure my depression then.

Yeah they seem fine. Kinda fun really.
Really not seeing anything particularly cringy.
The gameplay is the part everyone says sucks bad
Uni catHonestly its hard to find videos of them.
Other than those 2 its just the entire games cinematics.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, I remember in the thread a troper going about gameplay experience as being aggravating and not fun.
Bullet spongy enemies, dodgy AI of your sister unless you do co-op, limited variety of enemies, level-gating stuff, etc
shame the gameplay sucked, having two girls just killing nazis with the same devil may care blood and mayhem as your standard grizzled marine is a really cool premise. On top of potential interaction and a built-in co-op experience. Could've been the River City Girls of first-person shooters if it were handled better.
I always read that people hated the twins because compared to Blazko being a tired, weary yet philosophical and grimly determined man, the twins apparently spoke like they wandered off the Borderlands set.
So the wrong thing with the twins wasn't the "wokeness" or "cringiness" but the fact that they were tonally unfitting for Wolfenstein?
Makes sense i guess
Uni catMost of the negativity I've heard about the game is the grindiness. Not much about the daughters, people seemed to like them (or at least one of them).
If so then someone should really remove the scrappy section from the games page.
At the very least make them base-breakers.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Zero Punctuation hated Youngblood in large part because of the glaring shift of tone, but also because of the forced co-op gameplay consisting mainly of extra large helpings of enemies, rooms with two widely separated switches for no obvious reason, and a bunch of very heavy doors. Also, the story is apparently about as short and meaningful as a piss from someone with a urinary tract infection.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"...I mean, pissing with an urinary tract infection is very meaningful; every piss is a struggle, with a lot of reluctance, pain, and ultimately a comparatively small amount of relief is gained for it, which is almost not worth the effort.
...ok, yeah, that metaphor holds pretty well, now that I think about it.
Also I hear Fergus and Wyatt are nowhere to be seen. Those were my favorite characters. Sure, it's probably to avoid the whole dubious canon thing, but they could have incorporated them without trouble. Such as someone asking the sisters to identify who they recognize in a photograph with the two of them.
It's Just A Game
Influencers are like proper celebrities now, so we have to listen to everything they say.
Ninja is an influencer, and he has plenty to say. Recently the Mixer Man caused a fuss by extolling the virtues of anger and deriding the notion that a videogame is "just a game."
This sparked up the age old Hardcore Gamer debates, and I've got bugger all else to do this week, so let's talk about competition, attitudes, and Cucumber Succulence!
So yeah. That.
Also, Jim's neighbours must be very confused at all of... well, Jim.

The Second Coming of "You cheated not only the game but yourself"
Ugh being a gamer sucks these days.
Remember, these idiots drive, fuck, and vote. Not always in that order.
Jim says what I've said it before on the Stadia thread, I'll say it again: If Game Streaming takes off, it's a manner of time before AAA Publishers decide they dont have to share their toys and each start their own service. Like Netflix is learning
Steam itself is learning the lesson, with developers like EA, Activision and Bethesda having decided they can just make their own platform and not give Valve a penny. And it'll only get more and more common as time goes on. And if Game Streaming becomes a thing, it'll only get worse.
And I dread to imagine what AAA devs will imagine for monetization opportunity when they realize you don't even have the game installed.
