There's a cellphone port of the original that adds Leona and also has Ralf and Clark with their KOF outfits and some of their special moves. of course, it's a cellphone game.
I wish my local arcade could get more Neo Geo games. They only have KOF 2002 (and well, KOF 13). It'd be awesome if they got Last Blade 2.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Wait, arcades still exist somewhere? And they stock Neo-Geo games at all?
visit my blog! All they have is KOF 2002, Bust A Move Again! and I think Metal Slug 3.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.The last arcade machine I saw in-the-flesh (errr... in-the-wood? in-the-plastic?) was a Shinobi at a gas station.
visit my blog! The closest I found was a machine that had the first Metal Slug, but nothing else SNK related. They barely have anything made after 1998 (barring a DDR game and a cheaply made hunting sim).

"Pancakes. Oh, I blew it." - Joel Hodgson Nobody better lay a Butterfinger on my 3DS!I know I've asked this before in an earlier thread, but I moved my question here. To the point: If Fatal Fury Special is canon, did Tung Fu Rue, Duck King, and Geese Howard canonically enter Krauser's tournament, I mean, weren't Tung and Duck beaten by Krauser, and didn't Geese hid in the shadows while he ordered Billy to secretly spy on his half-brother?
There's a laundromat in West Hyattsville with a Metal Slug arcade cabinet. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."WAIT WAT TERRY AND ANDY WERE ADOPTED!!!?
Suddenly, I think Terry and Andy were Geese's biological children.
What made you think they were Jeff's biological children?
Last name Bogard? Lol. I just never knew about the adopted bit. But maybe that's why Terry has deadly rave...
Jeff could have met them either in the streets or in some orphanage in Southtown.
Also, since when did Terry have Deadly Rave anyways?
That's not Deadly Rave. It's probably based off of Deadly Rave, though, and with that move, I can see how Rock has the Neo Deadly Rave.
AFAIK, he only has the Rising Beat (his Deadly Rave-esque move) in Capcom vs. SNK 2 and SVC Chaos.

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Ooops yeah Rising Beat is what I meant. It's like Deadly Rave but eh it's probably not canon now that you mention it only being in crossover games.

Sorry to be a little rude, but can anyone answer my question at thread #33 please?
I don't think it really matters at this point - the Fatal Fury canon is dead in the water right now and the King of Fighters one is an altogether different continuity.
But to try and answer the question, Geese surviving is not something all that farfetched - he managed to stay alive after the first fall from his sky scraper. The others might of just gotten better fast - Terry's seen getting his ass kicked all over the place in the Real Bout FF Special opening, but there he is front and center on the playable roster.
But my question is this, is the fight with Geese in Special canon or not?
Also, any reason why Desperation Moves are hard to do?

Because they're more powerful than regular moves?
Thank you
Also, in regards to Memories of Stray Wolves, anyone here agreeing the V As did a spectacular job here?
Also, they hadn't quite standardized the motions for super moves yet. The only reason Duck King and Geese still have ridiculous motions is out of nostalgia.
Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.Sometimes they add crazy motions after the fact though.
RIP reasonable Dynamite Swings.
There are rumors of a new Samurai Spirits/Shodown game being developed - using an art-style similar to KOF XIII. My fingers are crossed. I wonder will SNK ever be able to top Samurai Shodown II in regards to said series?
Hopeless VanityEven though Team Galapagos is long gone (and i think, assimilated into Arc Sys), I'm sure SNK Playmore can pull off a new Samsho if they make sure to not fucking Follow the Leader like they did with Samsho Sen.

Felt like reviving this thread.
Random thought: They need to remake the Ikari Warriors games to make Ralf and Clark more in line with their King Of Fighters interpretations. That is seriously the one thing that puts me off of playing those games.
