What are the limits of Checkpoint Starvation? Does it apply only for an entire game, or can it apply to specific levels? The description is unclear about that.
I'm asking this because I'm overlooking a YKTTW called Hardcore Mode, which is basically Checkpoint Starvation toward its extreme end and as an optional Difficulty Level.
