Oooh, so they did change it. Good for them! Their obsessive team of ninja lawyers have needed to lighten up a bit for a while now.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.I have the playtest material - not really to actually playtest, but to answer Wizards' polls or to discuss it online. I might playtest it if I have the time or means.
My favorite class concept is the Monk, but I've heard disappointing things about the 5E Monk.

So, would you guys be up for a Skype troper game? If so, we only need to figure out who'd DM, and we'll be set with a three-man party.
I set up Skype, now I hope if I figured out how to use it.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"I'll pass. I quite simply don't have the time for another game.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.I would love to try as long as its not on Monday Thrusday or Friday.
You look happy, I can change that if you want.I've got a Skype account. Oh although getting a agreed-upon time is gonna be difficult. What time zone is everyone in? I'm GMT+10.
hashtagsarestupidMountain time aka as I post this it's 8:34 aka GMT+6

You look happy, I can change that if you want.As my posts indicate, I live in New Jersey, with Eastern Standard Time.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"Heh, I'm from the future.
Who's willing to take the responsibilities of DM? I'm willing but I haven't much experience with the system.
hashtagsarestupidI would be ok with D Ming as well as i have the latest packet too. Though I am new as well so I would prefer to be a player.

You look happy, I can change that if you want.Well, of course we are all new to this system. That's kind of the point of playtesting. Taking a look, though, it looks a lot like 3.5, so if someone has experience with that system, it would probably work out.
I don't have much faith in my own DM skills, but I'm willing to take the spot of no one else does, since I started this and all. I wanted to practice so I could run an effective game for my friends anyway.

Lots of experience with 3.5 which is why I would be OK with D Ming. Unless someone out right says they want to DM I am willing to be the DM.

You look happy, I can change that if you want.Great lets do this. Shall we run one of the test play adventures?
hashtagsarestupidThat would work best. When 5th is actually released I could make my own game with it. but the test adventures would work best for now.
Yeah I would be fine with running a test adventure. The question is which one.
Of the 4 we have
Caves of Chaos for levels 1 to 3. Isle of Chaos for levels 3 to 7. Reclaiming Blingdenstone for levels (They did did not say.) and The Mud Sorcerer for level 14.

You look happy, I can change that if you want.Well, looking at the character growth tables, most classes appear to be more or less "finished" by the time you hit 11, so you'll have a good idea what a class can or can't do when you start there. However, it might also be a good idea if we started a bit low, if only so we can get properly used to the basics before diving into the more complex stuff.
We might want to start a proper thread in the RPG forum, btw.
Actually can someone start the Thread for me as I have no clue were to put it.

You look happy, I can change that if you want. It's just the sign-up, though. We'll create a proper discussion thread once we got the game actually going.

So, what's a general list of changes?
Do you mean from 4th edition Dungeons & Dragons to 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons?
hashtagsarestupidI kinda thought Pathfinder was supposed to fill this role?
please call me "XionKuriyama" or some variation, thanks! | What is the good deed that you can do right now?No. It's from a different company and made by people who hated fourth edition.
"What's out there? What's waiting for me?"I just mean, what has everyone loved and hated so far?
That's always a good place to start.
Honestly I don't follow the online fandom so all I can tell you is my personal experiences. But it's moved dramatically towards the more rules lite less combat focused style of second edition AD&D. It's got a distinctly of school flavour. Something I honestly don't really care about

Oh really? Well I'm up for that! Who else is interested?
