Figure of Hourai
An was poked. Repeatedly. With a sheathed sword. Momiji had finally decided enough was enough and, for the betterment of the unfortunate white-haired girl, was attempting to drive the smiling girl off through excessive poking. If Misha didn't want to eat the egg, why force her?
"You, girl that's been following us! Leave Misha alone, or I'll have to make you!"

"I, I, what?" An's forehead was practically touching Misha's now as she stared into the smaller girl's eyes with an intensity greater than the heart of a star. "Come on, you know you want t-Ow!"
Momiji's jabbing seemed to snap her out of her obessession for a moment, causing her to jump backwards just enough to give Misha some breathing room. "H-hey, no need to be so violent, silly~ I was just having fun with Misha, that's all. Just fun, all nice and happy like, eheh~" And in what seemed like an instant, she had suddenly turned her intense, way-too-close-for-comfort stare to Momiji. "You hungry? I'm starved! Don't you just want to have some yummy, delicous, scrumptious eggy-weggies~? Misha has that big, delicious looking egg and she doesn't want to share!"
Get rid of it. That egg needs to go! Humpty Dumpty needs to have his great fall, ahahahahahah~
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
Misha, memories of Moriya-sama's 'close-range danmaku' practices welling up(along with general uncomfortableness at just how close An had got. Her space had been violated, and An had just kept getting closer...), dropped to the ground and hugged the egg to her chest, drawing her knees in. She was shy at the best of times, after all.
This wasn't the best of times.
"I-Inubashiri-s-san... sh-she got r-really close..."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."
-Down, down, down. Tons of rock continuously move up out of the cavern, and still it is not enough. Armies of chattering imps scratch and scrabble at the earth in total darkness, and still there seems to be no progress save the foothills of loose rock that grow ever larger. Already thousands of the fiends are dead, their limbs reduced to ragged stumps, their limp corpses hurled along with the rest of the spoil to be quickly buried under the new loads. The larger demons last longer than their tiny comrades, but now and then even they fall. The endless sound of hammer and pickaxe, of nail and claw away echoes from the pit and out to the surface, where it reverberates into hellish cacophony. Imperturbable amid the chaos of moving rocks, deafening booms roaring fires and oily torch-smoke, Koschei watches the entrance to the cavern, mounted on a horse that seems made of smoke and embers.-
-The time of waiting will soon be at an end. Finally, his weapon will taste more than the blood of outcasts, foolhardy youths and madmen venturing too far into the realm. Soon the Black God's forces will abandon shovel and pickaxe for sword and spear.-
"I-I-I..." Too close too close too close. An... they were touching it would only take a little more for the taller girl to be pressed against her. Misha held the egg tighter, and wasn't sure what to say. Shy at the best of times, this was testing her limits. And the way An was talking, she sounded so cheerful, but what she was saying, there was this edge to it...
"I... I... n-no, I... y-you..." Misha was breaking down. Someone she didn't know, so close, talking so much...
