Of all the Xrd newcomers, she seemed like the most likely to return. I was kind of hoping her theme would have female vocals.

She's not showing as much underboob this time. She kept the hot pants at least.

Also why are Arc Sys so reluctant to show more of that black samurai guy? Are they ashamed of creating him or something?

Nah, they're saving him for last, probably because he has a big role or something. He might be the final boss.

which would be interesting because GG's final bosses are usually women.

I can't imagine him being the final boss given this is supposed to be the end of Sol's story.

He sure doesn't have final boss to him, but if that means we're not getting SNK Boss & a legit cool boss fight then I'm more than cool with that. Those SNK Boss are just cheap gimmicks anyways.

He may be the Arcade final boss, not necessarily the story's. Remember the Universal Will wasnt even fightable.

That IS bizarre now that you mention it.

EDIT: Actually did she even fight at all in the Story Mode? I just sort of remember everyone wailing on her but her not actually using any techniques to fight back.

So I've been doing a little research into the series. Kliff, Testament, Justice, Bedman and Jack-O are all off the table at this point, yeah?

Bedman the character yeah, but he might have a successor in his apparent mystery sister who shows up after his death.

...Testament is dead?

I dont know. Parsing canon from non-canon is tricky with this series. I think he was supposed to have sacrificed himself to revive Justice at the end of GG.

EDIT: Nope. He's in the drama CD for X.

Yeah. He acts as Dizzy's guardian post first game, up until she opts to deliberately leave with the Jellyfish Pirates, and then Ky. Last I checked I'm pretty sure he was 100% alive.

Venom and Robo-Ky are both off the table too since they retired to run a bakery together.

Testament is one of the weirdest omissions from Xrd.

Like is he even mentioned?

The Xrd Encyclopedia Johnny regularly visiting a certain strange man, who may or may not have been Testament. Still weird he wasn't directly mentioned or seen in Xrd at all though, you'd think after hearing of what happened to Dizzy he'd have hell to pay for Ariels and the Valentines.

Well, Elphelt and Ramlethal were just being used, and rebelled against their creator....but Testament is known for his extremism, so I could see him going after them anyway.

So what one character is everyone most hoping to see playable?

I've been on a XX kick, so mine is Robo-Ky.

Didn't he self destruct in the story mode of the last game?

Crow, because that guy has not been punched in the face nearly enough.

He survived his death. Venom, too.

Testament is long overdue & Anji is that unpopular pick so I chose him as well.

Mostly for the guy who got me into the series since that was his main.

Huh? Anji was one of the more popular requests during Rev 2.
