-Kanaya gasps, her eyes widening as she realizes what was masquerading as her home-

-she focuses quickly and rushes for the Babyman, watching for his first sign of a strike-

-whereupon she'll feint back, twirling gracefully around and slicing a half-moon sweep of Durandal at the Babyman-

-Mikey can see that there's a big line at the buffet. All of the people are piled up behind a curious gilled troll, wearing a fuschia trenchcoat and swim-goggles-◊

-she's at the buffet line, piling tons and tons of sweet and sour chicken on her plate, so much so that the line is completely stopped behind her, everyone is grumbling and looking a bit pissed-

-Spidey leaps and swings above the crowd, darting from wall to wall, trying to stay in pursuit of the hooded figure-

I'm wondering how other people earn them... or if they're just being crazy stingy to us for the sake of competition.

-He glances at the faded and slightly scratched out emblem◊ on his shirt-

-Allister hears the commotion, and quickly gets serious. He starts heading into the foyer without wasting any time.-

-Near needs help, but the cat over there is in trouble, too...!-

   "Go, Dusknoir...!"   

-Allister quickly throws out his Poke Ball, revealing the aforementioned Dusknoir◊.-

   "Use Disable on those guys...!"   

-Dusknoir gives a nod before shooting out a blast of energy. It shouldn't harm anyone, but his target might be stunned for a second!-

Not sure how to make Disable work so I'm just going with this for a momentary stun type of effect to "disable" the opponent.

Haha! You're funny. Death's embrace will never touch me. That's too much intimacy, and my spines are great and sharp and pierce the veil of reality.

-She puts her finger on the trigger-

My team is gonna win for sure! And they'll love it. And love me.

-The trio begin to head into the seating area, content to watch a movie-

-It's tragic when the film screen bursts into flame, catching the tent on fire-

-The crowd begins a mad scramble for the exit-

-Bezalel stares-

-The Babyman swings the axe down at Kanaya, which she deftly sidesteps-

-She swings Durandal in a graceful arc, catching the axe at its handle... and severing it-

-The Babyman stares at the hilt in his hand, then back at Kanaya-

C' ahornah ah vulgtmnah aimgr'luhh.

-He raises his hands, dropping the hilt-

   Strike it down. The coward will continue his scheming if allowed to live, this I promise you.

-Ghouls mill by, idly watching the discussion-

-Some gnaw on gristly bones for dubious provenance-

-Luffy opens the door, and is greeted by a sheer drop at least 30 feet down to the streets below-

-The cat hops onto the floor behind him-

Johnny flicks his right hand outwards, in her direction — a plume of flame rockets from his hand, towards the pistol — she can barely see the barrel deform and melt before the intolerable heat spreads to the grip, and towards her hand.

-Vania drops the gun, looking irritated, then pleased-

Wow! Very cool! I've never seen something like that before! I'm lying, of course I have.

-She pulls out a katana and goes to decapitate Johnny-

-Deuce just stares, wide-eyed-

-He leaps in the way, trying to protect Johnny-

Good. You must come with me. We will pursue justice.

-She begins tugging on Trudy's arm-

-The cat emerges from an alley next to the building-

Johnny ducks before he lifts his arms and pushes Deuce to the side — then he springs up just after the katana clears the air over his head. He uses one arm to push her back by the midsection, and his other arm sweeps across her dominant arm, trying to grab the sword's handle.
