-Aichi grows a bit sheepish when he sees the mess.-

-Ah... He's not exactly the best at staying on top of things either, but he's not this bad...!-

-But... it does make him feel somewhat happy, seeing that she's wearing those pajamas. He still feels bad that he didn't bring them to her as soon as he was supposed to. With everything that happened...-

-...-

-...Should he bother her...? She seems like she's resting pretty well... He'd feel kind of bad waking her up...-

-...She just rolled over-

-Out of bed-

-WHAM-

Lighthouse (Aichi)

-O-Oh no!-

"S-Shantae, be caref—"

-OOF.-

-Aichi cringes a little when she falls out of bed, before snapping out of it.-

"Are you OK? Shantae?"

-He steps a bit closer, now. She... shouldn't have gotten seriously hurt from that, but he can imagine getting a nasty bruise from falling out of bed like that!-

-Her forehead is red now!-

-She... actually is beginning to sound very hurt... and a little... touchy?-

-However, her face finally relaxes a little more, and she closes her eyes.-

-She turns away from the Lad, tone now becoming a bit more firm...-

"...If you think that I would ravage and wreak despair upon the helpless, such as those with the accursed horse, then I have no more to say... You are free to believe what you wish..."

-...Seems like something touched a nerve here. Something involving a 'horse'?-

-Aichi whips out his phone to check that, before giving Shantae the time.-

-She gets up and SHE QUICKLY KISSED YOU AGAIN THAT FIRST ONE WAS JUST THE BEGINNING AAAAAAA-

-The boy scratches the back of his head in confusion-

So which is it, then?? Either you wanna help those kinda guys or you don't! Make up your mind, sheesh....

And what's this about a horse? You ain't makin' any sense at all.

-Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd Aichi is beet red, and absolutely stunned once the kiss is finished.-

-He brings a finger up to his chin, and looks downward, awkwardly.-

-He awkwardly looks back up at Shantae again, although his head is still tilted downwards, a bit.-

-Caster goes quiet, for a moment.-

"...I wish to act as a shield for those that are pure, generous, kind, and innocent... To be a defender against darkness... Against crimson flames of despair..."

-She slowly turns around to face the Lad again, seeming to be just a bit more calm.-

"My sincerest apologies... My words were not clear..."

-She sits on the edge of her bed-

I still want to know about the horse.

-Ah, that's...-

"...It's... well..."

-He finally lifts his head up, and looks a little more serious.-

"You've finally made it back to Scuttle Town, and..."

-...She might want to stay here...-

-He knows that part of him wanted to stay home with his family and friends when they ended up in his dimension...-

-She tosses the blanket over his head-

-Aichi can hear Shantae’s closet door open and shut-

"...In a manner of speaking..."

-The men that emerged from the horse certainly slaughtered her beloved Troy, and the destruction did result in flames and smoke...-

"A 'horse' led to the destruction of my home..."

-When Aichi removes the blanket, Shantae’s now in her red dancer’s outfit with her hair already done up in a ponytail-

“You crazy? I’m not leaving you guys!”

-He... actually seems a little excited about that!-

-Although... his expression mellows a little.-

"Are you sure? You might not see everyone for a while..."

-After all, that's what comes with the territory of going with everyone in the crossroads...-

"I know you love everyone here, and... I understand if you would like to stay here."

-He has a soft smile when he says that.-
