(Wendy sighs, walking closer, and then sitting down on the couch, pulling her legs up.)

...Things had been starting to go right...

-Aichi's expression saddens.-

-...Yeah... That's how it was for him, too...-

-He finally made all of his friends, he was growing more confident, successful, and happier...-

"...I'm sorry..."

-His expression grows a little more level.-

"...I'll do whatever I can to help you get back home. I promise."

Main Room

(She looks up excitedly.) You will?

Main Room (Aichi)

-Aichi nods.-

"Yeah! If there's anything I can do, I'll be glad to help you and your friend, Caster!"

-...Oh! He hasn't introduced himself...-

"Ah, I'm sorry... I forgot to introduce myself!"

-He smiles a little.-

"I'm Aichi Sendou. What's your name?"

Um, I'm Wendy Marvell.

"It's nice to meet you, Wendy."

-Ah, this whole thing is very confusing for someone that just appeared here...-

"I'll do my best to ask any questions you have... and I'm sure my friends will do their best to help, too!"

Room - Roof

-The eventful evening for our Young Friend had passed. Now, unfamiliar with his surroundings and quite confused, the young man found himself following his newfound comrades-in-arms, hoping that doing so would help him realize where he was.-

-Unfortunately....he was just as lost as before. Perhaps more so, even. He had long-since dropped the sword he was carrying somewhere, and he had no idea where it was.-

-He gazed, concerned, at the back of his right hand, as if expecting something that wasn't there.-

-This boy needs some ASSISTANCE-

The hero may spot me licking my fur. Don't judge me for this gross behavior, human. My master's hogging the shower right now. You should probably give her an earful for that. Heroes do that, right?

-Oh hey Shantae's up here too!0

-The Young Man looks up from his hand, at his two fellow roommates.-

...Oh! Didn't realize anyone else was up here....

-He looks confusedly at the Licking Wonder, before turning his attention to Shantae-

...Oh-...Ye're that girl from before!....Should ye be up? That ordeal must have taken a lot outta ye.

Marcia the Gatomon - Roof

I greeted my fellow dimensional travelers. It would be rude if I didn't, nya.

"H-hello... Hero. Hello, Shantae. How are you two d-doing, meow?"

"I'm...doing better than yesterday, definitely. What about you guys?"

Marcia - Rooftop

"Doing f-fine, nya. Just p-passing the time while my master is hogging t-the shower."

Speaking of showers, Lune is singing hot-blooded themes in an off-key tone of voice. It's horrendous to listen to, especially if you have sensitive ears like me! God, no school in the Multiverse can remove her terrible voice! I quickly covered my ears in pain.

No worse f'wear, on my end!

Well, now that things are a wee bit more settled....d'you think you could tell me where I am?

"Oh, this is my house outside Scuttle Town! ...When'd you get here, anyways?"

Scuttle Town?.....No place I ever heard of...

...Oh- me?? Well y'know, I just sort of.....stumbled in! Eheh....

"Happened to me, too. This building just kinda...appears in different worlds! Never thought it'd ever be mine, though..."

....Different worlds? I'm in another world?....But that can't be right, how did-?

So, Shantae's not into comedy, huh. A shame. Her life is filled with plenty of wackiness, and yet, she can't understand a good joke if it bit her on the rear. Genies need to hear more jokes, for Junon's sake.

I clarified, "T-those are my nicknames for the Squid Baron and Ammo Baron. I th-thought they'd catch on, nya."

I quickly covered my face in shame. At times, I wonder why my mom assigned me to her in the first place.

Lune can be heard yelling, "Ammo Baron is cool. How many tigers can he suplex?"
