It falls into what I was saying again, then.
I could say, "I know plenty of Xs in real life" but it's not actual evidence beyond the anecdotical. Not to mention that for all I know they just fullfill your own standards of what is a hipster, rather than what a hipster is and so on.
honestly, I still think the concept of someone who deliberately ignores everything "mainstream" in order to just engage in underground entertainment and who seriously snobbish about it has to be a construct. Nobody can be so intellectually dishonest, at the very least.
