So I watched the muppets Christmas Carole the whole way through though,and I loved it!
One thing though,I noticed the spirits of Ignorance and Want were absent from the scene with the The Ghost of Christmas Present
(this is where I know them from)
I've wondered why,but I think possible they didn't want all three ghosts to be seen 'scary' so their version of Christmas Present is genuinely a nice spirit with a sad ending as he ages away

I've seen quite a few adaptations leave out Ignorance and Want, probably because it's tricky to make them look frightening without going too over the top (such as Robert Zemeckis' version). Richard Williams' adaptation was probably the best interpretation of them.
As much as I like the 1951 Alastair Sim version, Ignorance and Want are pretty poorly depicted there, to the point that it's laughable. The ghost of Christmas present is talking to Scrooge about how he should be weary of both of them, and how dangerous they are, and they're both played by two kids who clearly aren't much invested in the scene.
If I had a nickel for every film where Emma Stone falls off a balcony... I'd only have two nickels, but weird that there's two of them.

Disney+ is putting out a documentary about Jim Henson, directed by Ron Howard, on May 31st.
Defunctland's Jim Henson docuseries on Youtube was really good and well-received, so it'll be interesting how this one compares.
