Man, I can still instantly recognize most of these GTA lines. That sure was a memorable game.

I tried to play it again a while ago, but man, those controls... Everything seems to move a bit too fast in these old games.

80 percent bonus cash with shark cards! Man, they are getting desperate selling those. Sales must be down a lot thanks to the casino.

I finally managed to do the casino heist, with two players. All that massive amount of prep work... for a measly 200k payout. Doesn't really seem worth all the hassle.

Coming to Playstation 5 in 2021 enhanced and expanded. PS 4 GTO owners will be getting 1 million dollars every month till release and PS 5 owners will get GTO for free.

It's been on the Playstation 3 and 4 and will likely be on 5 considering Bethesda wants it on everything including your toaster.

I'm really not sure how to feel about this. I like GTA V, but at the same time, I'm like, make a new game already.

But it hasn't, yet. It'll be probably backwards compatible, since 5 is fully backwards compatible with 4, but it's not been especially made and repackaged for 5 yet.

They are making the next game in the series last i heard.

It will be years out, though, especially now that they are porting V to the PS 5. You don't do that and then undercut its sales by immediately jumping to the next game.

Isn't the 5 back compatible with 4? Isn't there already a GTAV for the 4?

Yea... but I wouldn't put it past them to make us pay full price for an improved version anyway.

Even if I get a PS 5, I'd likely not bother with getting GTA V again.

Usually I don't mind getting the same game twice, but there are two caveats to that:

1. Can't be a rerelease on the same system as the base version (which is why I don't intend on getting Persona 5 Royal when I already own vanilla Persona 5). Essentially can't be a rerelease that feels like it should have been dlc.

2. Can't be a rerelease on a system that is backwards compatible with previous hardware the original release is on (like GTA V here).

honestly, people make fun of Skyrim, but people who owned Oldrim at least got Specialrim free.

This seems like a weird cash grab. This trailer doesn't show anything new; this looks like literally the current state of the game.

It is exactly the current state of the game. It is nothing more than a port.

Just watch them cutting off all new DLC for the PS 4 once it comes out though, just like they did for the PS 3.

well, the PS 3 to PS 4 gap was a much bigger one. They were never meant to be backwards compatible due to having fundamentally different infrastructure weren't they?

Its a telling sign of the shift in both game development and the profit model when we've gone from three GTA games on one console to three consoles with one GTA game.

to be fair, this GTA game is absolutely huge. I'm gonna be sad if the Online mode ever goes offline. I've invested a lot of time into being more militarily powerful than the actual in game military

Correction, Online is huge. Signle Player is comparatively small, especially compared to IV, which got two DLC single player campaigns.

Man, those Simeon car missions in Online are a ripoff. He gives you a set amount no matter what you did to the car, including upgrades. So basically, anything you spend on it, you lose.

I haven't done a simeon in forever. The time is better spent on heists and assassinations
