Well he was a complete douche bag, so I guess this is karma.

That and he is an aristocrat, and many have ill feelings towards the wealthy and powerful.

I think Waver's the only one who isn't wealthy and powerful. Almost by definition the mages in the war have "good breeding".

Yeah, but at least the others, mainly Kariya and Kiritsugu, don't act all high and mighty like Kayneth.

But yeah, of all the Masters, only the two aforementioned ones seem to be in it for more than just themselves, instead, wanting the Grail to help others. In Kariya's case, it's Sakura, and in the case of Kiritsugu, it is practically the whole world.

I'm partial to "Kayneth's Perfect Magic Class" myself. And why exactly are these scenes so damn exploitable?

Regarding the Battle of Camlann: This is why you do not summon Arturia as Lancer-class.

You don't summon her a Lancer because she doesn't fit the class, actually. You can't do it.

All the people from Saber's backstory seem really interesting and I bet we'll never see any of them. No Mordred, no Morgana, no Merlin.

I can't see her as Caster or Assassin, but the others? Sure.

She openly stated that because of her sword's fame, she can't be summoned as any other class.

Arilou: Because Nasu said so, just like how he said Saber gets a rule breaking happy ending and only the Hassans can become Assassins.

As much as I love the Hassans, I really hate that rule.

Arha: It's a poor joke on my part. In accordance with Arthurian tradition, King Arthur used a lance against Mordred at the Battle of Camlann, which didn't turn out so well for him. Therefore, even in the original myth, being Lancer is suffering.

OK, another question. Does activating a Command Seal require a verbal order, or can you just think what you want your servant to do?

No verbal order required. You focus your will and concentrate on the seal. It's also possible to phrase a normal command too powerfully and use up a seal.

I'm pretty sure it requires verbal order. It says so in Fate/Apocrypha, though that might not be totally canon.

No. Shirou uses it non-verbally in UBW, he also uses it without meaning to in the same route.

Yes. At the beginning of UBW he accidentally uses one without knowing he even has them, and later uses one non verbally.

Which one was the non-verbal one? I just need to jog my memory.

No, non verbal was when Caster was kidnapping Taiga and they interrupted her. I think.
