She needs to play more RTS wargames then
"You can reply to this Message!"Well the impending glass showers aren't going to be nicer
"You can reply to this Message!"Sydney is grabbing the flight orb. Yeah, probably not gonna cause a diplomatic incident...
It was tickling my brain this morning, we established that Sydney lost her fear of flight when holding the flight orb, which kind of makes me wonder if her usual tendency to fearlessly rush in is exacerbated by the orb's influence.
That said, regarding grabbing the orb, she got a passive move upgrade on that recently, didn't she? I want to say that it left her floating even if she let go of the orb.
Edit: Ah, yes, "featherfall" and it indeed gets rid of her vertigo in general, or at least as she describes it, but I'm not entirely ruling out that the orbs may be having further psychic effects on Sydney.

I'm glad that the author text clarifies things a bit because I initially read this as Dabbler having mind-whammied Krona to push her into sex, definitely not cool.
As others have pointed out in the comments, Krona doing the same to Leon with her "reciprocal arousal hack" raises similar concerns.
Leon takes his Internet seriously. And, again, glad for the clarification in the strip description. I thought Leon called these guys in as part of his security response.
And someone can nosell Krona...
Also, I think you've got it backwards. Krona successfully hacked the grenade back outside. The "what the" was from the mook.
Be more worried about the normal person currently being hit with fire powers.
Ah, I did misread that.
Would surprise me if Archon personnel, particularly high ranking ones, carried some sort of one off protective charm, cheap due to its single use, but enough to protect you against a surprise attack to get to safety.
But yeah, the attackers are definitely not playing by Silver Age rules...
That is outrageous good fortune.
Only I think literally every single one of us called it.
My posts make considerably more sense read in the voice of John Ratzenberger.I got directed back to an archive trawl, and this post had me thinking about the situation of Deus having Super Intelligence for those viewing from the past. He has to know what her answer will be... and yet he plays out being surprised.
"It's poking the kneecap from the inside!"
Welp, I just found my new nightmare fuel for this week!
"Why would I inflict myself on somebody else?"As people noted in the Patreon chat, this is an incredibly lucky throw for Ariana as kitchen knives don't tend to be that sharp, she's probably not a trained knife-thrower, and it's hard to land a knife point-first in your intended target, let alone an unintended one beyond where you're throwing it. Not lucky for the guy she hit, of course.
Honestly, looking at that little self-toss in the 3rd panel, I wouldn't be surprised if Arianna did have some training in knife-throwing.
"Why would I inflict myself on somebody else?"Yeah, I'm still a bit confused as to what's happening. That's apparently Hiro with part of his door frame. Not sure if it's him or Anvil punching out the door in the panel before. And not certain if Heatwave destroyed her door and flew out or if this is supposed to indicate that she got blown out, maybe due to the gas getting ignited.
Goofbo?
