With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Honesty... or somesuch nonsense.
Seriously, though. Probably the episode itself didn't have an aesop, but Ghostwriter was teaching Danny a lesson about being callous. And then in doing so Ghostwriter does the same sort of thing and gets arrested for it. Irony. Meanwhile, Danny learns not to be so bitter, which wasn't exactly the lesson Ghostwriter was trying to teach, but meh.
I don't specifically remember anything about why it would be broken, though.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. The Ghost Writer was like the most powerful being in the entire show!
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs SchneizelHe's also, a bit ironically, one of the least inherently evil villains. But damn does he get nasty if you push him enough.

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. His lack of direct evilness is something I like about him and especially the Master of Disguise ghost from season 3. Nice to see a ghost who wasn't inherently a scumbag of some kind who wasn't the Dairy King.
It was also something I really liked about the brief appearances of Johnny, Youngblood, and Skulker in the episode where Danny briefly becomes rich.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.that must've been season three because I don't remember it. Youngblood is my least favorite bad guy followed by Johnny

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Of course it did,it was SUPPOSED to be "Don't ruin everyone's morale just because you have issues with the occasion"
However that's kind of broken by the Disproportionate Retribution Ghost Writer sicked on poor Danny
Oh also,I didn't like "Identity Crisis" since it foreshadowed "Livin' Large".
"Eye for An Eye" was the beginning of Vlad's Flanderization and Danny was a bit of a JerkAss that episode.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterincidentally you think I can work the timeline so Ember is actually chronologically older than Spetra?

It's not broken at all. Ghostwriter's Disproportionate Retribution ends up embodying pretty much the exact spiteful same attitude that Danny is being punished for, so in the end the fact that Ghostwriter is punished for it keeps the aesop as it is.
It would also be kept if Ghostwriter and Danny ended apologizing to each other, or something, but it's not broken in this case because karma still strikes both of them.
It's like, say, the first ever Tom and Jerry cartoon. Jerry steals food and it's supposed to be bad, and Tom is justified in stopping him (more karmic than the later cartoons). This isn't broken because Tom later steals food, it's sustained because immediately after Tom starts stealing food himself the universe punishes him for it.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I feel asleep because I was sick. Urban Jungle was okay and I liked a few of them, the one with Walker minus the whole Sam suddenly being able to understand Spanish aspect because, well really? Characters spontaneously knowing something without foreshadowing or any hints is annoying, but yeah, Season 3 is nowhere near as good as the first two and once I am less sick and you guys remind me to do so I'll try to point out my thoughts on a later date because you guys are having an interesting conversation at the moment.
My friend likes Box Lunch for some reason.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I was sick and delirious at the time so it slipped my mind I was thinking about something else. It happens. And it only further proves my point of how jarring it was.
Your friend must be a shipper.
What do you mean "for some reason"
Why SHOULDN'T you like Box Lunch?
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs SchneizelI think shes weird I mean true shes a better character than both her parents put together. but having the power of food boxes his way to Pacific and it would leave her powerless a lot

With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Well stealing all the meat would leave the enemy hungry and weak.
No her mom dos that.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. She has power over food and boxes. And will probably learn to make Energy Cubes like Daddy when she grows up a bit.
Yes, thank you; but cubes? Really?
I still don't understand why Season 3 is so despised, sure it's Lighter and Softer than the second, but most of the episodes were still really good.
The only crimes the season did was put out the episodes "Urban Jungle" (which wasted the talent of Mark Hamill completely),"Livin' Large", and "Eye for an Eye". The rest were at least as silly yet amusing like the first half of the first season.
That and it was too short, leaving most legitamate arcs hanging and unresolved.
Sure Vlad decayed, but it is somewhat justified.
Besides all the other seasons consistently and irritably deployed the whole She Is Not My Girlfriend shtick when it really got clearer and clearer that uh,...actually Danny,...Sam is your girlfriend. This season actually changed that when it was long overdue
Besides Season 2 had that stinker "Fright Before Christmas" which ends up being a Broken Aesop
