Well, I'm bummed now. The card game introduced Daigo and his partner Baihumon's Digivolution line, and it's pretty much soft-confirmed that the Adult Evo is Gryzmon. Really thought it was gonna be Leomon since the Perfect Evo is LoaderLeomon.

Gryzmon is Bearmon's natural evolution and has had GrappuLeomon as a Perfect evolution since Digimon World 3, so evolving to another Leomon-species Digimon isn't that weird in that regard.

Weird to see an episode where a mon and a human who aren't partners team up. The closest we got were those few times in Adventure and later Tamers where characters were separated from their usual partners.
What does it mean that Rulu as even able to announce the attacks? Can they temporarily trade partners?
Oh wait. I forgot about Xros Wars. Near the end, the fact that Nene, Taiki and Kiryu could Xros each others mons became a plot point when they used that in their strategy against Yuu, but Xros was was an odd beast.

Yeah that part where Ruli essentially became Jellymon’s partner was interesting, especially since Jellymon accessed different moves as a result. Half-expected Jellymon to get a different evolution actually.
You know Digimon getting new moves and different evolutions with different tamers could actually be a good hook for a new digimon series.
This week's villain was "merely" Lethally Stupid this time around. I'm amazed he hasn't led the other cold Digimon off a cliff already.

Speaking of, I think this is the first time the Ghost Game crew have actually nearly died from a Digimon. Other Digimon have attacked and injured them before, but Frozomon came the closest to actually offing them.
I definitely liked the dynamic with Ruli and TeslaJellymon towards the end, since it was obvious the latter was just as concerned about the others too, but had to smack Ruli since she knew they couldn't afford to worry about them so long as Frozomon was a problem. Impressive that the two of them were also able to actually fight off Frozomon considering he's a Perfect level.
Speaking of, the most interesting part is that Ruli was able to call out TeslaJellymon's attacks. In prior series, partnership between humans and Digimon meant only they could unlock each others abilities. Just having a Digivice and a Digimon wouldn't be enough, like when Juri borrowed Takato's while trying to make Leomon her partner. Here though, it seems so long as you have a Digivice and a connection with a Digimon, you can be partners with each other. This could actually open up some possible new dynamics by switching around partners, like having Hiro work with Angoramon or Kiyoshiro with Gammamon. They could mix and match with each other so as to take on different threats.
This could also mean that they can recruit more Digimon without needing to find human partners for them. Like that BlackAgumon that was watching them, or Bakumon. They could build armies like the Generals did in Xros Wars!
Joshua Seth has said he's been replaced on the Digimon Adventure 2020 dub.

Which part? Ballistamon in general? Or the DarkVolumon mini-arc?
In my defense, it's been a long time since I've watched the Xros Wars dub. Now that I've taken the time to look, Ballistamon got off easy compared to the other characters. It was Taiki and Zenjiro whose voice acting suffered the most. That was my mistake.
