I'd be down for it if I had played Xenoblade Chronicles. :( It sounds promising though.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).That’s honestly one of my preferred Ridley matches, at least partially because I’d like to see Metal Face get in at all for the dialogue alone. And it fits especially well if you decide to use Meta Ridley as the basis for his design. That said, don’t think Mumkhar is making it out of this one alive. His feats just don’t really compare to some of the more wild Ridley stuff, and Mechon resistance to traditional weapons is likely more so to do with (relatively) low power options to fight them with for most of Xenoblade Chronicles, and could feasibly be overcome with enough power even if Ridley doesn’t have special anti-Mechon weapons.
I prefer Metal Face to go against Starscream, personally.
That is a good match up as well.
I don't think Starscream isn't as powerful as Megatron either. I get the impression Starscream is somewhere around Mumkhar's level, like small town level at best. But he simply dwarfs Mumkhar's speed since he's undeniably going to get Galaxy level Speed. Plus all of Mumkhar's attacks and weaponry work best against foes who are, well, organic.

Hmmm, I feel like Metal Face lacks the element of wanting to betray his leader to really thematically match with Starscream.
If Space Ghost were a more prominent franchise, I'd say Ridley vs Zorak is a good idea. Trying to get that good mix of "space pirate/warlord/etc" and "animalistic." Innihilus, maybe?

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.2I wouldn't say he wouldn't, just that he knew for a fact he couldn't, I mean he already betrayed his own kind for power, and he basically did everything his way regardless, but point taken.

Ooooh yeah, right right, I was only focusing on his allegiances while on the bad guys side, I forgot he already did a betrayal beforehand for power.
I get the feeling that if “expanded G1 Starscream” is used he definitely has some shit power wise, but if you focus on just G1 CARTOON Starscream he may be more comparable, though even then he could have some power behind him.
The only Space Ghost match we’ll ever need is Space Ghost VS Eric Andre
There's also the Nanite Scooby Snacks like the Super Speed which allows him to outrun electricity and travel around the Earth in seconds. Along with other basic abilities including Super-Strength, Invisibility, Super-Intelligence.
Scooby Snacks like becoming a giant Monster, Dolphin, Bat, Puma/Panther, Forcefield that can also ricochet himself and projectiles, becoming Rubber to stretch indefinitely, living Magnet, Shrinking, Sonic howl that can deflect/reflect mind controlling waves.
There's also the few more notable Scooby Snacks like Shapeshifting into whatever living thing he touches although his tail will always be present regardless of form.
Hyper Speed version which straight up makes him faster than Light so he realistically has no reason to ever use the weaker version, Multiplying himself for multitasking.
Finally a Giant robot form that can fire rockets, deploy a forcefield, dodge missiles launched at it and fly with jet boosters.
There's also the Heart of Jaguar aka the Power of Friendship which was implied to be the only thing powerful enough to pierce the Evil Entity's sarcophagus and destroy it. So I guess you could get some kind of numbers off that by massively upscaling from the Sword of Fate?
Also, I feel like if Mumkhar does destroy Starscream, wouldn't his spark be able to take control of him permanently, since Bionis turn to Mechonis can have their memory wiped? It's because of Mumkhar's huge character flaws that made Egil realize "Let's just take that out" and made them full blown robots... for a bit.
Oh yeah his Spark does that huh, also in the G1 Transformers cartoon Starscream was caught in a generator explosion in outer space fired by Megatron being wielded by Optimus which was stated to be able to blow up the Earth on four separate occasions.
Another Decepticon, Soundwave was also caught in the explosion that destroyed the the Planet of Paradron while every other notable character escaped its range of destruction.
Both of them have also been shot by the Orbit Disrupter cannon meant to.........well blast the Moon out of Orbit because apparently it's WAY easier to built such a machine of immense power to just flood a single canyon rather than doing it themselves!?

Butler (Artemis Fowl) vs Brock Sampson (Venture Bros)
Been rewatching Venture Bros lately and this was dropped in my lap.
Butler would be a character that would run into the issue of not really having footage to use for the analysis, since the only Artemis Fowl adaptation to date is something everybody would like to forget ever happened.
They could use the graphic novel adaptation of the novels for that, just as they use comics for comic characters.
I have to admit that I had never heard about the graphic novel adaptation before.
Yeah, I guess this would be doable then.
I highly suspect Scooby vs. Courage to end with the loser as a spirit and they get scared of seeing their corporeal form and run offscreen.
Sort of like Jake's death.

You can find them all at the link above.
If either come back, I'd want this to be the runback episode.
... Never thought of that before but it's actually great, would love to see that one. Although if Aizen loses again then Bleach fans are probably going to riot.
I think that Sephiroth would ironically be in the same position that Aizen was ruled to be against Madara; both masters of illusion, but Aizen has more experience breaking out of illusions than Sephiroth, and as powerful as Supernova is, without something like the truth-seeking orbs on his side, it's doubtful he could put Aizen down for good. Sephiroth can also heal more or less endlessly, but probably not after his head is vaporized.
Would be extremely cool if the fight started with a blade-lock, then a really close four minute back-and-forth fight animation ending in a fake out where Sephiroth manages to land Supernova, and then the scene zooms back out to that initial blade-lock and it turns out that Aizen landed his perfect hypnosis right there, and everything else that we saw just took place in Sephiroth's mind. So we get a kickass animation, but also the fight technically only lasts for like, five seconds.
God. Poor Link never stood a chance
Cloud did all of this after fighting an extended motorcycle battle. Gets battered and bashed through buildings by Sephiroth. Gets impaled multiple times.
Then he finishes Sephiroth in like 5 hits after a pep talk. A hallucinated one likely caused by the blood loss.
Man was like a broken soda machine of blood.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Fun fact. Bleach just got an insane speed buff, so Ichigo and Aizen just lowkey speedblitz Naruto and Madara respectively.
Basically, Ichigo processed all of the Soul King's memories in 17 seconds in TYBW, which was calculated by the perception to reaction speed ratio to give him a reaction speed of at least 1 million times faster then light for a low end, and this is in base form. So...
Yeah. Yusuke is gonna be so dead when they do that episode.

What do you mean "processed his memories"?
That doesn't sound like it would have anything to do with physical speed
That might say something about his perception, but that would heavily depend on what exactly happened.
DB already used literally the exact same kind of calc for Alex's speed in Colex, remember? They'd absolutely use it here.
And he was able to go through all of the Soul King's memories (the soul king has been around since at least the beginning of the earth) in 17 seconds.
Why not just pit Ridley against something different, like Mumkhar from Xenoblade Chronicles.
Both are despicable beings, one is a ruthless space pirate while the other is a traitorous little shit, both have killed the main protagonist's loved ones, Ridley killed and probably ate Samus' parents, Mumkhar is responsible of killing Fiora, Shulk's best friend and Love Interest and his former friend Dunban's little sister.
Though while writing this, it seems too incompatible for these two to fight now that I think about it. Plus, Mumkhar has the thing where, as he is a Mechonis and either the Manado, Manado empowered weapons or weapons made by Mechon metal can hurt him...
