Legends EU Palpatine did some crazy shit
But never on a universal scale because the setting remained A Galaxy
Then again Legends EU Palpatine could just Ginyu Freeza maybe. I’m not clear on the precise mechanics of it though
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIf he could actually do that and land it, Frieza is fucked, because he has no counter to stuff like that, if anything, it's incredible Ginyu never tried it when he had the chance.
Ginyu was probably too loyal to Frieza to want to do that.
That or he decided running the Planet Trade Organization was far more trouble than it was worth, and was content with simply being the leader of the Ginyu Force.
I guess if he took over Freeza, there’s still Old King Cold
Forever liveblogging the AvengersGinyu's technique can be intercepted; Someone else was able to jump (or be thrown) in the way of it twice. So it, like many things in Dragon Ball, is susceptible to power levels. Presumably if he tried to Body Change Frieza, Frieza would put a finger beam through his skull and cut that shit out immediately. Frieza is literally 1,000x more Power than Ginyu is.
Could Frieza actually do that? Unclear. It's only ever been explicitly interrupted by a third party. But I'm sure Ginyu is in no hurry to find out.
I assume any body changing shenanigans that Palpatine may have has no such limitation? Most non-Dragon Ball sources' hax aren't typically subject to "I'm strong so fuck you."
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Fun fact: Ghost Palpatine’s attempt to body jack fetus Anakin Solo was interrupted in a similar way. A third party jumped in the way and let Palpatine possess him instead. And then he died and dragged Palpatine to hell because otherwise he could have just tried again
Forever liveblogging the AvengersMr. and Mrs. Smith (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie) vs Tim and Natalie Jones from Keeping Up With The Joneses (Gal Gadot and Jon Hamm).
- Married couple with spy/assassin skills from a live-action movie. The Smiths don't know about their extramarital affairs. The Joneses do but keep it a secret from their neighbors.
Does that mean that third party is also in hell?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Yes
Forever liveblogging the AvengersHell of a guy.
Wait, what's hell like?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Apparently? Big Jedi rave
“Though injured by Palpatine in the fight, Brand was able to capture his opponent's soul, which fled its body after being shot by Han Solo, and upon dying Brand carried it to the Netherworld of the Force, where the former Emperor would be held prisoner by all departed Jedi for eternity.”
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWhat, is heaven not a thing? They all have to be conscripted to keep this bastard down?

Maybe that’s what becoming one with the Force means.
Meant.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersDBX idea: John Wick Vs. the World
The guy has like dozen different match-ups, time to cull them out a bit.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Generally speaking Force Heaven is simply being one with the Force. Everyone connects to everything returning to the universe to be apart of nature.
To the Sith though this is Hell because it means the loss of their prided individuality but also that they become just like everyone. To a Sith who prides them self on being the absolute dominator of all life, being merged with life like anyone else is the worst insult to their pride.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."John Wick vs. Machete!
Thought you meant Za Warudo for a second there, had me going “Man, you’ve sure got hella confidence in Mr. Breathtaking, don’t you?”
Why not just pit Frieza against Darkseid?
Because Megatron is the superior pick and their exoskeleton colors match.
And in all seriousness let's steer away from DC picks. Darkseid got his stomp. I don't need to see him fight Freeza. They've got little in common beyond being the Big Bad and having eye lasers.
But Megatron vs Freeza? Oh yeah, that is the big uncomfortable Thanksgiving uncle hug of Death Battle match-ups.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).2Remember, True Darkseid. Frieza has no way of getting to that, Darkseid wins automatically.
Alright, here's a holiday themed question.
Which fight or character are you most thankful of having in Death Battle?
We all must have had that one fight on our list of most wanted, and chances are, you probably already got it.
I was so fucking happy to see Po in Death Battle and winning too. Kung Fu Panda was such a surprise for me seeing it as a kid, and I really grew to love the series as I got older. To see Po in Death Battle was the one episode this season so far that I have been extremely hyped for. When the episode came out, it was fun and satisfying, and while not my most favorite fight, it still left me happy.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I'd say we should think of a holiday themed battle, but I'm not coming up with many fictional turkeys.
Like... maybe the robo turkeys from Aqua Team Hunger Force vs those time travlleing ones from that one kids movie? I dunno...
Turkie from Thanks Killing, perhaps? I don't know if there are any other turkeys that would work to fight against him. (And his movie is shit and makes no sense anyway.)
It's been 3000 years…
Palpatine can use the force to break a wooden board. Frieza can hit it and kill its entire race.
Plus, I hope they do Froeza soon in tribute of Chris Ayres’ passing.
